They have a pretext (bad economy, deficit) under which they don't have to tackle environmental problems for the next decade so I wouldn't get too excited. And unlike Labour, the Conservatives don't even have to pretend they care about clean coal.
Now we need to get Miliband to accept that Rubbish Incinerators which are dressed up as so-called "energy from waste" stations are NOT the "only answer" to our rubbish & waste problems.
Central government needs to REGULATE the supermarkets manufacturers & the food industry etc to REDUCE packaging!
You can't trust Labour or The Tories.. they are BOTH in the CBI's pocket & they both serve Corporate Interests before anything... these NWO globalists will NOT take climate change seriously!
Carbon taxes and trading scheme is bullcrap.
Just another way for corporate interests to make money.
And Greenpeace is not helping because they are not addressing the real issues.
