  • Its hard to find good kettlebell instructions, if you are really intersted in kettlebells get certified or look up big organizations. Not just a person showing "how to" on youtube.. I recommend WKC and Valery Fedorenko, his video is world class kettlebell sport lifting and he knows what he is talking about..

  • I think i got seasick watching this video

  • what lake? i gotta place in the kawarthas

  • Cool, the first thing you do is a Turkish get up.

  • man thats really a great place

  • Me lift real weights not puny kettleballs GRRRRRRRRR

  • 1:35 which muskles does this workout train?

  • @comingforya1 Also I now realize you're totally not serious in your video's! Kudo's to you for tongue in cheek humor and making fun of buffboys!

  • @comingforya1 Erm yeah - your video's need to be turned 90 degrees to the right. Also you're a troll with excess facial hair.

  • Thanks for these simple exercises dude, really helped. I like how mellow you are about lifting.

  • which weights would you recommend for a girl?

(anticipating the hate i will get for this question)

  • @interspecificcompet also: you are seriously hot :P

  • @interspecificcompet

Hey, if you're a young girl with no previous upper-body training, probably 8kg. If you're an adult woman and can do a few push-ups, you should be OK with 12kg. I recall that that's what Pavel recommends in his training book.

  • Does anybody know how much that kettle bell weighs?

  • @DillonSinghBasi He says 24kg in one of the comments.

  • This video was a positive influence

  • This guy pulled a salmon out of the water after his workout and fucked it and then threw it back into the water because he didn't want to marry it.

  • i dont understand these things so if u wanna train for mma u shouldnt workout at a gym u should just use kettlebells or should u switch it up and do like 3 months of weight trainning and then 3 months of core workouts someone please answer

  • @mmafanification1 id say kettlebells are a better choice for mma cause you use your whole body movement and its explosive its helped my fight game tremendously but it doesnt really matter as long as its total body and has some kind of carryover to your skills

  • Very nice! :D

  • Very nice! :D

  • Great stuff man, thanks.

  • appreciate you putting together a video to help guys, but you really need to put some structure to this, starting out with turkish getup, then doing warmup.. is just confusing. running through the excercises too fast as well..

State the repetitions and sets as you go, and don't switch from one excercises to the next so fast. Very difficult to learn anything for it.

  • I expect doing all that shit on an undulating jetty isn't too easy....

  • Were the fish biting? J/k. Nice lake . . . where is it?

  • i would be afraid of dropping it in the lake lol, that thing would be gone!

  • Make sure you don't drop the KB on your foot.

  • 01:05 first thing I ever did when I got my hands on a kettleball

  • appalingly shit and incorrect technique on all the demo's, pavel tsatsouline would kick your ass if he saw you instructing KB training like this. If you dont know who pavel is you know nothing about kb training.

  • dang thats dude has a great physique. Its gotta help to have some kind of fitness calculator to track your progress or figure out how many calories your burning or w/e like the ones you find when you google 'your fit assist'.

  • is anyone more apt to listen to him because he is more ripped than yourself?

  • Yeh, train with kettlebells. Lesnar does it too. And look to what happened to him when he met somebody who actually trains TECHNIQUES.

  • @RunicAxe If you were training for a fight and you only trained technique you'd get tossed around with ease, man. I've heard the kettlebells are good for core strength to help with wrestling, so why not use them if you're keen to grapple? Bas Rutten recommends 'em.

  • @RunicAxe so we will base this one example you made as a blanket policy that kettlebells are not useful in mma. hmmmm

  • @RunicAxe yea and so did bj penn thats just one example you were using

  • I want that one.

  • weight of kettlebell?

  • do you do other workouts with other weights or just with kettlebells? pretty dang ripped there. i love kettlebells!

  • Are you training only with Kettlebells or do you training with dumbbells too ?

  • Shoulda filmed you jumping in for the fuck of it..

  • @garbageman80 ahahahaha lol

  • You're Dad would be pissed if you dropped it and put a hole in his dock.

  • nice setting and nice keetlle bell.. only thing I dont understand is where ws the first stage of the get up. Ive been doing them with a one arm press first for the last 5 years . Is that not in fashion anymore?

  • haha, did you think of what would happen, IF you'd lose the kettlebell into the water xD?

  • Why kettlebell is so good for mma ?

  • @eleven107 can build strength n gud 4 ur hips...

  • Would be nice if they would announce how many lbs we shud use. I have a 10 pounder and a 15 pounder.

  • one HUGE suggestion for beginners after watching this good video.......wear shoes

  • @mrdave777 obviously that was a joke... everyone knows you don't wear shoes when training with a kettlebell. One of the fastest ways to grind your knees to dust and roll an ankle is wearing running/tennis shoes when using a kettlebell.

  • Thanks for the video Eric, but how's your diet? Anything that you eat or don't eat?

  • hey guys. what weight kettlebell should i choose for building strength/power? Currently I'm 140 lbs and 5'9

  • i have 16 kg , 24 kg and 32 kg kettleball...

wich one should i use ?

I use usually 16 and 24 kg almost everyday...

    i am 54 kg 163 cm ....

  • dude you have a great body!

    very inspiring thank you :D

  • I thought these things were a joke at first... I was in the hospital for about 2 weeks in early May and I lost over 30 pounds...I was already thin but I got crazy thin due to my illness... However, about a month ago I started using these things and learning the crazy workouts... Upped my calorie intake and started a higher protein diet and pretty much gained all the weight back with much more muscle definition... Love these kettlebells....

  • wow. really good form. im subscribing!

  • My first thought was 'What a nice setting and place to workout' My second thought 'I'd quite like to see him drop it and see it go through the decking' tee hee

  • good vid,but im feelin a bit sea sick havin watched it, lol. cool place to workout man

  • nice place to exercise

  • hahahah great atmoshpere man

  • no eay is that 24kg its more like 16kg

  • yo eric! can you show us how to workout while wake boarding? every time i try...i fail :( lol good video man! :)

  • Thanks a lot for posting! Great stuff man.

  • man, that snatch to a pistol grip hold looks killer. great stabilization

  • Headed to the gym now and I'll pick up the ball instead of the weights. Thank you for the idea and the work out tips

  • how many sets and reps of each exercise should be done?

  • @shan0221 Depends on your goals dude and the weight of your KBell...

If you want endurance, higher reps, shorter rest between sets, 2-4 sets should suffice...

For strength/power, lower reps, like 4-8, 3-6 sets... longer rest like 1.5-3 mins b/t sets...

  • Nice vid - thanks.

  • don't listen to the haters... this stuff is nice. thank you very much? hpw many reps for conditioning?

  • what are work out routines.like how many excersises and sets and reps

  • my god....sorry dude but you must training too much better with KB.....respect.

  • Thanks for the tips!

    ilona, Finland

  • You need to stop trying to teach kettlebell exercises....your technique and instruction is terrible

  • @knorris1508

at least he is working out... I give you props for helping out eric!

  • you need to shut your fucking mouth and correct his instruction if you know any better, what you put out will come back. you put out negative energy, you get a bite in the ass

  • LOL that dog sounds vicious!

  • nice vid. rated it five! check out mbody strength here on youtube for more KB challenges!

  • hey what weight would you recommend starting with??? I'm reaching an intermediate level

  • Depends how strong you are - pick a weight that makes it challenging but you can still keep good form for all the reps you want to do...

The one in my vid is 24 kg... That's light for the swings, but right for the getups - so it depends on what you're doing...

  • Good stuff, I got a 16kg and it's totally kicking my ass lol

  • where is the wake boarding boat bro

  • dude I wish we had one - I've got a board, and I get pulled behind a 1970's ski boat lol it works though till I get the real deal

  • you are strong man

  • nice

  • it looks like 24 kg, turkish get ups are no joke man... start with a lighter bell. you don't want to get KOed by it...

  • Hey man, what weight for your kettlebell do you use?

  • nice vid thanks
