Its hard to find good kettlebell instructions, if you are really intersted in kettlebells get certified or look up big organizations. Not just a person showing "how to" on youtube.. I recommend WKC and Valery Fedorenko, his video is world class kettlebell sport lifting and he knows what he is talking about..
Hey, if you're a young girl with no previous upper-body training, probably 8kg. If you're an adult woman and can do a few push-ups, you should be OK with 12kg. I recall that that's what Pavel recommends in his training book.
i dont understand these things so if u wanna train for mma u shouldnt workout at a gym u should just use kettlebells or should u switch it up and do like 3 months of weight trainning and then 3 months of core workouts someone please answer
@mmafanification1 id say kettlebells are a better choice for mma cause you use your whole body movement and its explosive its helped my fight game tremendously but it doesnt really matter as long as its total body and has some kind of carryover to your skills
appreciate you putting together a video to help guys, but you really need to put some structure to this, starting out with turkish getup, then doing warmup.. is just confusing. running through the excercises too fast as well..
State the repetitions and sets as you go, and don't switch from one excercises to the next so fast. Very difficult to learn anything for it.
appalingly shit and incorrect technique on all the demo's, pavel tsatsouline would kick your ass if he saw you instructing KB training like this. If you dont know who pavel is you know nothing about kb training.
dang thats dude has a great physique. Its gotta help to have some kind of fitness calculator to track your progress or figure out how many calories your burning or w/e like the ones you find when you google 'your fit assist'.
@RunicAxe If you were training for a fight and you only trained technique you'd get tossed around with ease, man. I've heard the kettlebells are good for core strength to help with wrestling, so why not use them if you're keen to grapple? Bas Rutten recommends 'em.
nice setting and nice keetlle bell.. only thing I dont understand is where ws the first stage of the get up. Ive been doing them with a one arm press first for the last 5 years . Is that not in fashion anymore?
@mrdave777 obviously that was a joke... everyone knows you don't wear shoes when training with a kettlebell. One of the fastest ways to grind your knees to dust and roll an ankle is wearing running/tennis shoes when using a kettlebell.
I thought these things were a joke at first... I was in the hospital for about 2 weeks in early May and I lost over 30 pounds...I was already thin but I got crazy thin due to my illness... However, about a month ago I started using these things and learning the crazy workouts... Upped my calorie intake and started a higher protein diet and pretty much gained all the weight back with much more muscle definition... Love these kettlebells....
My first thought was 'What a nice setting and place to workout' My second thought 'I'd quite like to see him drop it and see it go through the decking' tee hee
you need to shut your fucking mouth and correct his instruction if you know any better, what you put out will come back. you put out negative energy, you get a bite in the ass

how many sets and reps of each exercise should be done?
shan0221 1 year ago
@shan0221 Depends on your goals dude and the weight of your KBell...
If you want endurance, higher reps, shorter rest between sets, 2-4 sets should suffice...
For strength/power, lower reps, like 4-8, 3-6 sets... longer rest like 1.5-3 mins b/t sets...

hey what weight would you recommend starting with??? I'm reaching an intermediate level
olvidatedeeso 2 years ago
Depends how strong you are - pick a weight that makes it challenging but you can still keep good form for all the reps you want to do...
The one in my vid is 24 kg... That's light for the swings, but right for the getups - so it depends on what you're doing...
