@DEL1122 Clevedon is a retained station i.e. the firefighters aren't based at the station 24/7, but respond when needed. They are paid a "retaining fee" for being available and are then paid for responding to emergencies.

I heard whilst out and about on Friday that they are trialling a helicopter in the very near future and that they were looking for volunteers? Not too sure whether that was rumours though! I can't see it being successful in my opinion.

yeh they do look good we might be losing are rescue unit next year to a helicopter next year at bath so they have said
