This should be the National Anthem of Sri Lanka. Song was written for the 50th anniversary of independence. It's theme is very relevant to what we need today: create an 'inclusive' society where Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim, Burgher and expatriate folks could feel well-treated within the Sri Lankan State. This looks like a mirage but let's hope for the best!
There is nothing called tamil eelam separately in Srilanka.
Tamil eelam may be in Tamilnadu India , but not in SRILANKA Srilanka is one undivided single country for all Sinhalese , Tamils , Muslims and Burghers as one nation
But I heard that tamils are being harrased and killed by other people in Lanka which is unacceptable. We are all human beings created by the god to live and enjoy this divine gift. But people kill each other for their ridiculus things.! I hate tamils killed by army in lanka.
Do not listen to false views of a terrorist organisation which is NO MORE.
Tamils had been living in peace and harmony with Sinhalese for generations untill some misguided few from north invented a TAMIL EELAM.
The Srilanka army only liberated the peace loving tamils and the sinhalese from this terror group funded and popped up by imperialistic nations for thier own interests
there will never be a tamil eelam. dream on. sri lanka is united. one country for all sinhala tamil muslim s and every body. go make ur tamil eelam in india, africa or may be in noway. some one with at love to this country would never ask for break it in half.

minorities can never feel or be equal. that is by definition what a minority is. they must just learn to accept that.
