  • this is like jews music shit! ieuwww

  • Hi what song?

  • @huma7700 main theme of the movie Black Hawk Down, by Hans Zimmer :)

  • wooow.... ok Dubai has just become my no.1 travel destination..!!!!! :)

  • Yeah but it's still a shithole full of sand.

  • google UAE TORTURE to see what Dubai really is...

  • i think Dubai, and the emirates are great role models for arab oil producers. UAE is no longer dependent on oil for its economical growth, while the rest of the arab oil producers still are. all these countries need to move away from dependence on oil.

  • cUBE dESTINATION

  • they better be prepare for tsunamies i hope with all those costal areas

  • @bryancolantes What? you mean you are hoping for a tsunami to hit Dubai?

  • @joshun28 No i mean they better be prepared for a tsunami because they have no protection against one....

  • The World Islands is just a fantasy..

  • Really bigggggg..

  • Someone shoot me.. I think thats heaven! XD

  • You have to take your hat off, for the man behind all this..his vision..is just ..i dont know, i think he was an atlantean in his previous life . This is a modern day Atlantis, certainly those emirates towers give that Atlantis image we know from shows, artist impressions.

  • When are they going to make some of the building we see in their CGI stuff? like those candle flame like buildings

  • porfabor algien me puede decir cual es el nombre de esa cancionn lo agradecere mucho :)

  • guys and kids, oil in the middle east, especially uae/saudi arabia isnt running out anytime soon, and by anytime soon i mean not in next 50+years....haha...im an ambassador and ino what im talking about...note: im not an emirati either....

  • Im filming a documentary called"Homeless in Dubai." I start by interviewing people who make less than 2 million dollars quartely. Its very heartwrenching (sob).

  • conto do dubai este la bra adora da. region del sor querida. si puera mas briliante mas florida. tambien pour tele dera la de pou to bien. mapipia kaneo san sa sa italia de la pasta.hehehe

  • what a waste of money and resources

  • i am planning to move to dubai insahllah is it true that dubai is in debth

  • you're so totally wrong. the whole building units were already sold months after the announcement of the tower was made.

  • Sure, the Burj is 90% sold, but that tower is the exception to the rule as property speculation comes to a punishing halt.

And that last 10% hasn't been sold even as apartments in the Burj now go for less than half their peak value of almost $2000 per square foot.

I still see these buildings as a monument to the wildest dynamics of finance capital.

  • dubai, the world is waiting! the new world, no matter what americans say, do not spend money on damn war, this is the best way to show who is the best, allah bless arabians!!!

  • Dubai could have spend it's money on artillery, aircraft carriers, nuclear weapons in order to impose itself as a powerfull nation... Thank God not everybody is as smart as the people in Washington.

  • DUBAI e bellissima!!! .... conto di andarci prima possibile

  • very sad music. is this the memorial?

  • and what depth does the water have there.i mean how much sand they put there its crazy

  • can someone explain how the built these?wtf.they got sand from the deserts?even if they did they would need like millions of tons.and how they carried it

  • @ d1versify

on YouTube, type Dubai Mega Structure, there is 5 parts on "how they built the Palms" FROM SCRATCH!! It is CRAZY! You need to see the video, it is truly the most exceptional project known to man. They show you how and where the sand came from (under the sea), how they traced the shape in the ocean! WOWOWO!

  • @ d1versify

it's actually "Dubai Palm Island episode 1" where you can discover how they built the palms from scratch. type that into the Youtube search, and it will show 5 parts of it. follow each and you will see how this amazing project was created. Priceless!

  • full respect!

  • The whole idea of creating artificial islands on the sea to build luxury mansions for the filthy rich is sickening, disgusting, ghastly, hideous, horrendous....The islands look ugly...I would never buy anything in the midst of this collossal stupidity even if I ever make millions of dollars!

  • The people who created Dubai had doomed it with theie over the top ideas and now its becoming reality and it will be devoured by the desert and deserted

  • Comment removed

  • Ha-Ha broke. Now the natives have to start working like anyone else does. Once a fool in the desert, always a fool in the desert.

  • im so close to having enough money to move to Dubai I cant wait!! Good bye America!!! :)

  • @iownbitcheshoe Wow that's a stupid comment. Even I hate America but you're moving to fucking Dubai? Have fun with all the bullshit towel head fucks. Arabs SUCK.

  • amazing video.... amazing music!

  • My dad always sad if you Dream big you will fail if you dream in lump sums you will go far. this is over developed .

  • and my dad says jelousy wont get you anywhere in life.........

  • you know, considering theres a hell of alot of oil in dubai.. it only takes one crazy man and a nuke and the whole city would be gone its a very grim thought

  • There is no much oil in Dubai at all , you just confirm that typical American don't know much about outside world, I am sure you can't even find Dubai on the map ...

    is Dubai a country ?

    is France a country?

do they speak French in Italy ?

  • well if you are so good in geography you should know then that Abu Dhabi is 20 times larger than Dubai, and contains 98% of UAE oil ...Dubai 2 % .

''The oil sector's contribution to Dubai's GDP has fallen from 5.4% in 2005 to 5.1% last year, according to a report by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry'' Wikipedia

just because they are Arabs they must sit on oil right ? stop getting your facts from Hollywood movies

  • what does that have to do with what i said you fucking idiot i stated a possable yet grim reality that could happen why are u giving me shit xD

  • Oh they are going to have a bad day when a property bubble burst comes along...

  • This place is already becoming a ghost town. Many fancy structures, all build by "slave" labor. This place will be abandoned soon. No one will go there. All building has stopped. The end for this place is already here.

  • whats better here or french riveria

  • Dubai con el edificio mas grande del mundo inesperado pero apropiado

  • No la había escuchado nunca esta banda, es muy bonita.

  • i went to dubai mall its soooooo big its the bi mall in the world it gets 4 hrs to get to the middle of the mall+i agree with vitor250295

  • this miserable song fits perfectly of my theory what i think will happen.. (i dont understand the words but still) ..open your eyes world.. who the fuck builts a city that fast without having some second thoughts.. THEY PULL A "CIA TRICK" THERE!!! Or another thing is that its both, natures fighting back with its twisted way, and insurance trick at the same time.. lets just hope that it wash away those peoples who harm most of this world.. corrupted policians and useless stars.n asshole bosses;)

  • hy sheik princ muamet

  • Somehow when I see these buildings I can only think of the plight of the local women..., I haven't seen none of them smiling, where are the happy crowds of smiling people?

  • this has got to be the most miserable song i have ever heard in my life.

  • Dubai is the best city of the world!!!!

  • os caras nao sabem o que fazer com tanto dinheiro ( puts que pariu )

  • The song is..... Hans Zimmer - Black Hawk Down (Main Theme)

  • Songs a bit miserable innit' ;)

  • what is the name off this song!!!!

  • their GDP is only like 40 billion compared to the US's 14 trillion most of this is privately funded and only 6 % of that 40 billion comes from petroleum. so this money is coming from other sectors like tourism and real estate. they sell multi million dollar properties to people like tiger woods

  • the sad music suits the fact that half the apartment buildings in thois video will be left idle in this recession. :-(

  • looool thats dramatically sad

  • These buildings are awesome. However, any country with the MONEY can do that. Superpower is not defined by buildings. If there is no real demand for that, is it necessary to pour money on it? Imagine the world runs out of oil, isnt it the end day of Dubai? Yes, tourism can be another pillar. However, how come u can support a ridiculously expensive city on the desert while u do not have oil money to flow in? I would rather invest in other countries and do charities than this showing of.

  • No city in the world, however, has developed as explosively as Dubai. As oil wealth flooded the United Arab Emirates, the emirate of Dubai on the Persian Gulf poured money into construction, much as Houston had done decades earlier.

the driving is crazy because there used to camels. cars are a whole new thing for them, made possible by America's dependency on foriegn oil!!!

American dollars being pumped into a desert in the middle of nowhere!

  • before you speak mr.

i want you to know one thing

dubai have no oil all oil in UAE is belong to abu dhabi and sharjah

thanks 4 being smart 4 nothing mr.

and its called arab gulf and we pump dollers to usa

  • I AGREE

u r right and the west would not have this life if it was not for arab oil

americans r living on our oil and working in our land and invading some

and skiekh maktoom is a smart man just like his father

thats the reason dubai is at its highest level of living

  • i agree with you in the reason of being dubai in highest level of living

every body know that oil or anything else stay for while so that why dubai always make the biggest shaped islands or the tallest tower or the first underwater hotel

ppl in the west think that oil make us in that level the answer is wrong we are in this level because we think milion time for the future instead thinking once for the moment

  • i love dubai and they r smart but am not emarati ..... am iraqi

  • ok we dont know how to drive and we used to camels what your grandparent used to drive ? bmw m6

hard qustion i think they used also horses and camels

  • very nice...

    nice music too:P

  • oil money

  • no it's not

only 4% of Dubai's BNP consists of oil, real estate is the big money maker there.

  • kk man

  • as an american it makes me sad to listen to all these peoples comments on this video hopingamerica will fall and hating the western world...WE DID NOTHING WRONG!

  • americans are generalised quite often however your goverment is full of retards.

  • yes it is and its quite sad.

  • @D3QUAL In den Sand gesetzt, ha ha.

  • Oh my GOD!!!

I don't know if there is actually a more beautiful place on earth!!!!

    DUBAI RULEZZZZ!

  • amazing

  • music

    Black Hawk Down -

    Hans Zimmer

    Gortoz a ran - J'attends

  • Dubai will be just like london, new york, paris, las vegas all rolled into one...slowly we are seeing the fall of the western civilizations and influence in the world and the eastern countries will then take Americas place in controlling and influencing countries around the world...

  • wrong choice, go cut yourself and never think that because it will never come true. Dubai is a great country but it will never influence the world like any other eastern country.

  • dubai is a city you moron

  • i'm not a retard, i have know this.

  • @videobien8 you are right. But today I hear that the oil ends in Dubai in 2015. But then they make a lot of money with tourism and factories. Dubai is THE BEST

  • in some years Dubai will be, with China, the king of the world...

I guess U.S.A is a bit worried about that... because the oil is in Dubai, and the employers are in China...

believe me... the future won't be in english

  • your wrong. Go cut yourself and never think that because it will never come true. If the U.S.A is not taking buying other countries products, then they will surly fall into a depression and then America will be thriving more then ever.

  • i think they're getting a tad bit carried away over there

  • does burj mean tower does anyone know??? this isnt funny but i have to admit that it crossed my mind. now that they have a few towers of there own...........and there own airlines.......hmmmmmm no thats not funny no.......................sad. for sure.

  • that's where it comes from, the willing

  • My mom knows some people that live back and forth there, and belive me, its EXPENSIVE!! im so jealous, that would be awesome to go

  • makes you feel so insignificant...

  • Just a dream for me.

  • that song is soothing and while watching these wonderful structures

  • wonderful

Music by Hans Zimmer. Supongo que será esa. por cierto, la voy a buscar, es genial. Saludos

  • Alternativ, environment, taking action, nature, energy conservation, forests, oceans, renewable energy, halting climate change

  • Thank you, Vexclorion, for putting it into words much better than I ever could. I am at once fascinated/in awe of Dubai's progress and beauty, of the free reign they've given to the world's most visionary architects, but at the same time conflicted with the knowledge that these amazing structures are built from what can safely be said is slave labor.

  • , how is this right, but how can we be blind to others and a rise of a new age? or should we not concern over one or the other, but the world as a whole, or do nothing

  • on a logical side, think of all the money they will make from tourists, they will become the world's newest super power. i will not deny the change of times for it is not for me to deny such and times do change. i do not want America to always be a super power, as long as we live in harmony and good lives, as we try to improve such in these times, i can live with another country taking the reigns, but can you? but despite all of that, it is at the cost of the world, and i doubt it will be free

  • do not get me wrong, such beauties should exist, and i am not trying to insult any culture or dreams, but the price, i think the world should not be paying for the wealth of one country...as i will, i ask all of you, look into yourselves, is such a thing right? Should such beauties ever come by mere man to see dream turn reality, as we all wish so desperatly, but at such a price? by the world, for one, or is it that this is them repaying the world?

What is truely right, and what is truely wrong?

  • they are doing it with the monopoly they've created that they took from the world with overpriced gas and oil which they make us pay 5 dollars, and they pay 5 cents, this beautiful, as it is, structures are being made for the benifit of one country, for future income from tourists seeking suck beauty, as they rob the world blind... beauty at a terrible cost...

  • Amazing!

  • Hah :D awsome they got the citadell from Half life 2 as a real skyscrape, not as hight tho, but still impresive

  • Nice video choice!

  • Nie no kozaki na maxa

  • This place is full of leaders from only their wealth not intelligence. Where is the military defense when this place needs it? Oh, its not there because there are no permanent residents hardly and the muscle their riches (from high oil prices)provided were building structures which serve no purpose. Those buildings will be with many empty floors. I worry for this country when we are all using other fuels. Tourists want to feel SAFE and I know Im creeped out by the logistical timebomb here.

  • im scared for the united states. =[

  • Do not be scared, Nothing they can do.

I am from Scotland, I am just be Proud to be Scottish, and i am sure you are proud too for wherever you come from.

Live a good life because there is only 1

  • these lads have the b@@@s to build and do what they want.the rest of us have to cop on and work together to build a world as inspirational as theres and live for the common good

  • very well said man i agree w you,if only every human being shared the same ideas this world would be much more beautiful.......

  • are they not affected by reccesion? are all those buildings will be built?

  • off course not, they have tripled their incomings because of the oil. they can probably build 10 times a city like dubai an even still have money left...

  • Arab world should help other countries by producing more oil. we'd like to go to Dubai as tourist but the cost of airplane ticket is terible, plus the cost to spend in shopping to your country Dubai.other countries are really in reccession,we're tightening our budget and our excess money for touring are drained. now people rather buy food than touriing the world. I hope people in the Arab world will understand.

  • Dubai no longer possesses a single oil reserve, its entire economy is run off of the business world that it has ingeniously created

  • will be built?? its built already these are real images accept couple and they are under constraction i think but the city of palm tree, the world map islands and everything else is real and built already some amazing architecture

  • great city and also this song

does anyone know the artist and the songs name ?

    would be great !!!

  • so, could anyone with veracity tell me whos/what is backing up these mega projects? where does the money come from?

thanks, and those guys are nuts.. (in a good way)

  • the buildings and projects are financed by rich sheikhs from Arabia, and other nations around the Perzian Gulf.

  • soin the end, is it really just from the oil?

  • jup, why isn't there an oil reserve in my backyard? :(

  • dude there is 3 times the oil reserve than saudia arabia in America. one more thing only 10% revenue come from oil in Dubais economy the rest is tourism.. I thought the same way too.

  • Hahahaha, standaardgold...cute!! :) Also, I agree with xtremerace in that America could learn a few lessons from the UAE!

  • from tourism now.

  • Dear "lionheart 6688" ... just beacause Dubai it isn't part of your STUPID country you're talking like that. You're with envy that THEY has the tallest building in the world and you has to be happy with the sears tower!

I'm sorry but I think you could keep your opinion for your self!

    Thank you!

  • OK people! The people behind Dubai just had charisma and a good idea. The money supporting the structuring of Dubai come from some of the largest companies in our world. You can expect people like Donald Trump and Oprah, just to name some of the most well known, to have already invested a handful of their industries money into Dubai.

  • You can definitely expect this city to grow and grow since it is being backed by some of the richest people and industries in the world. It isn't oil that's making Dubai what it is today and what will be tomorrow, but the already rich.

  • Dear "lionheart 6688" ... just beacause Dubai it isn't part of your STUPID country you're talking like that. You're with envy that THEY has the tallest building in the world and you has to be happy with the sears tower!

I'm sorry but I think you could keep your opinion for your self!

    Thank you!

  • "pcavalcanti0306" you got it wrong. I'm actually praising Dubai. I was replying to the people who commented on this video who think that nothing good is coming out of it. I wasn't stating opinion but facts about the growth of Dubai. I'm actually looking forward to the day Dubai is at it's peak of industry. Hopefully I'll be able go there on vacation sometime soon.

  • Investing? Buying a villa on the palm islands you mean ^^

  • Just love it when people who have no clue what's the difference between Iran, Irak and UAE discuss gas prices and safety. And if USA doesn't decide to bomb UAE for some reason (gas?), then it really is one of the safest cities.

And as an architect, I'd argue if this is a model city. Yes, it is amazing but it is all made for tourist attraction, and a prefect city doesn't consist of skyscrapers only.

  • A tour like that is at least better than one around China nowadays. And believe me, there's a lot of planning involved, more than you can think of. This place might become a place for the 'chosen ones' only, but it's worth watching what's going on there and learn from that. No such radical changes are possible anywhere in Europe or America any more. So no reason for speculation and getting angry - just watch and analyse.

  • Get a clue people. The U.S doesn't build the largest embassy on the planet in Iraq if they plan on pulling out anytime soon. "Permanent Occupation". Dubai is truly a model city of what globalization will bring generations from now. 75% of those in live in Dubai are foreigners. Remember, the Arab nations do not own the oil, they're just administrators. Global multinationals Own & control what's under it. I would argue that it's not in a bad spot all - one of the safest cities on the planet.

  • keep dreaming, look whats happening to your dollar, pretty soon it will be worthless, do you remeber what happened to the once mighty USSR

  • looks great but its kind in a bad spot with all the wars there how long will it last before some country blows the shit out of it

  • Best city in the world. other cities need to learn from Dubai

  • Learn what? To go by the seat of your pants and just hope the future holds some kind of miracle that does not require the USA running the country so it does not have anarchy bedlam and chaos? I hope not but frankly I am equally awed by the awesome structures in Dubai as I am by the collective eye rolling the rest of the world seems to be doing at the childish excessive fervor going on there.

  • you are retarded. do you really think

  • fucking idiot bush raised gas prices

  • I think many people around the world are waiting for that day.

  • with you

  • i never thought such a beautiful country cud exist!!!

  • wow !!!

  • ya looks nice but no one said anything about riseing oceans an how long will it be there before there houses sink or get washed away by the next tsunami.

  • why america isn't doin' anything anymore, i dunno... no plannin' ahead, i guess...

  • I think they are afraid of a second 9/11

  • america's planning the "freedom towers" in the place of ground zero. I dont think they're afraid of a second 9/11 because they're the ones that planned 9/11. Cool video by the way!

  • the music is goooood

    whats its name?

  • Hans Zimmer - Black Hawk Down Themesong

  • 0_o

  • what about global warming and riseing sea will they bethere if the glacers melt or wiil u anchor your house boat where your millions were wasted below your boat bet the fish will love your dream houses

  • trust me, Dubai has money enough to build walls in the sea or a big dam

  • USA just too good for create stories to teasing people.

  • but America has a huge coastline, Dubai doesn't ;) building a dam around America would take a hundred years or something, in Dubai maybe 10 years.

  • Fascinating!
