i still didnt understand the ending of the movie.....someone explane please especially for the part that said that julia hated julie or something like that
into the storyline, trying to tell us Herd Animals that They, the Hollywood know-it-alls and sleazeball politicians, know better how to live life than We do.
Here's a clue: Watch this movie if you really want to see liberal hypocrisy at it's fullest. What's the most obvious is the fact that neither of these inane women would have made cookbooks, novels, let alone a movie, WITHOUT CAPITALISM!!!!! The fact that we have CAPITALISM MAKES THEIR LIFESTYLE POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
Then there is actually a line in the movie where Julia Child says something like, I hope this cookbook sells a million copies. And helps people. What a bunch of holier-than-thou, liberal, hypocrits! Just because you have a character SAY, "I want to help people," when it's clear she (like anyone else) would just want to make lots of money off of it! But inject that liberal, progressive, "It could help people" line and it makes it OK, right?
This movie will definitely annoy you! It wasn't worth the 21/2 $ to rent. The constant references to her husband being investigated for being a communist sympathizer are not correct as far as I can tell. The scenes containing kissing were overdone & unnecessary, and took away from real moments of intimacy. The fact that Julie Powell's husband left her for 2 days during the movie was made out to convince viewers that, Oh, it's just normal in a marriage when 1 partner leaves for a couple days.

To be honest, I enjoyed watching you cook an egg. I'm kind of curious as to what you do for a living to get to see these movies early.
Anyways, nice videos, keep up the good work. I'll continue watching.
