@selkiti genes can not be the cause of it, my own mother was a dancer, tone-deaf. I can not dance. I have no long legs, no grace. I am created course and unfeminine, climber of trees. Mechanical.

My boy's father is much like me, however did not have the fight when discouraged from art. He should have been a great artist, or musician.. he, however works very hard and is respected. He may need me to express what sleeps within, he had far more talent than I.

Without the backup of the parent, the artist shows talent.

@selkiti people meeting me knowing the place my mother worked are shocked, they knew the Peppermint Lounge in 1968 was the place of the most beautiful women who dance go-go dancing.

I'm different. Not based upon the thinness and tallness of the frame of my mother and father..not "classic" in beauty.

@selkiti The boy, focused, different has many goals.. he has an understanding of electronics I do not possess, he has taught me, since he was 4 about these things. A child teaching his mother about electronics. He is different from me, but I do not discourage his other goals. I want him to be happy when he is an adult.. and to remember his childhood without hurt or discouragements.
