Look on the bright side: at least, as of Guitar Freaks 10thMIX & drummania 9thMIX, the notes are fully BPM-independent.

On a similar note, I speculate that this is the very song and reason why the notes on GuitarFreaks, starting from 10thMIX, no longer runs by the BPM.
