@SuperNighthawk21 Antibiotics do NOT help with viruses! They help with BACTERIAL infections! Way too many parents want their kids to have antibiotics when they have a virus (i.e. a cold, the flu, etc). The belief that antibiotics will help with viral infections coupled with doctors' willingness to give antibiotics simply to shut parents up is why we're getting super-bugs like MRSA. I do agree with you, though, about a fever being the immune system working. People...let the body do its job!
