    Very sweet !!!

    Dan de Carpentras

Nous sommes de la même région, peut être sommes nous de la même classe d'age ?

  • @laloue84 Thank You!

  • Hey Dean, Great job on one of my all time favorite songs!!

  • Thanks very much!

  • Another great blast from the past! That was excellent Dean! Terrific singing and a cool video! A terrific production, I enjoyed it very much... FrAnK (★★★★★)

  • Thanks for watching Frank!

  • What a cool one for you to do Dean! Great job! Haven't heard this one in forever! All my stars:)

    *****

  • Thanks Jane very much! There was something in Gerry's voice that made me want to do it! Thanks for the stars!

  • Yeah man! This is a sweeeet tune. I finally got a video out of Pinacle, totally simple one I did with Ben. Still have lots to learn to become a master like you!

  • Thanks Mark! The more you use Pinnacle the better you get. I just experiment and throw anything in that works. Still have not scratched the surface with all it can do!

  • Man you are Brilliant, a True Star.

This is my No1 Fav Song of all times and I was on Baker Street Station when it was being aired and this brought back the goose bumps that I experienced then.

I can't express how wonderful listening to you sing this was for me. Thanks D.

  • Thanks so much Chris! If you ever want an mp3 of any song of mine I would be more than happy to email it to you.

  • Wonderful, Dean!! Midi certainly came a long way. I still have quite a few of the first files I collected about 8 or 10 years ago now and they're downright laughable compared to this. This is excellent, and the vocal is superb as usual.

    5x50 stars.

    Mattie

  • Thanks very much Mattie!

  • I love this!! Boy, does THIS bring back some high school memories for me! Vinyl albums...AM radio...the late 1970s...weird time to be a teenager! lol

I love how smooth you double the vocals! Had to go get one of my Strats and play along on guitar! lol Great, Dean! Love your music, man!!

  • Thank you very much! I do get carried away double tracking my vocals. I got hooked on it from the Beatles doubletracking so many early songs. I was class of 1975 so I do like the seventies but because of the Beatles in the 1960's I alaways thought of the sixties as my generation even though I was in grade school in the 1960's.

  • Good cover Dean.

This is a favorite from way back.

  • Thanks very much!

  • Brilliant cover 5*****

  • Thanks very much!

  • Very very good. Great quality sounds well done.

  • Thanks man!

  • What a great sound. I played with MIDI for years and years but I don't think I ever achieved anywhere near this quality. What kind of setup were you using at the time? I guess the real question is: What was generating the instrument sounds?

  • Thanks Mike! Mostly MIDI XG sounds because regular MIDI just doesn't cut it. I have a Yamaha PSR 740. 16 track sequencer. I connected it to my Tascam 788 Eigfht Track recorder. If you want I can give you the names of the instruments used on the keyboard.

  • Great song. You did a great remake of it. Thats a tough one to do with all that music. I'm really impressed with the video work, nice effects. I wouldn't mind workin together some time.

  • Thanks very much! It was fun!
