Another great blast from the past! That was excellent Dean! Terrific singing and a cool video! A terrific production, I enjoyed it very much... FrAnK (★★★★★)
Yeah man! This is a sweeeet tune. I finally got a video out of Pinacle, totally simple one I did with Ben. Still have lots to learn to become a master like you!
Thanks Mark! The more you use Pinnacle the better you get. I just experiment and throw anything in that works. Still have not scratched the surface with all it can do!
This is my No1 Fav Song of all times and I was on Baker Street Station when it was being aired and this brought back the goose bumps that I experienced then.
I can't express how wonderful listening to you sing this was for me. Thanks D.
Wonderful, Dean!! Midi certainly came a long way. I still have quite a few of the first files I collected about 8 or 10 years ago now and they're downright laughable compared to this. This is excellent, and the vocal is superb as usual.
Thank you very much! I do get carried away double tracking my vocals. I got hooked on it from the Beatles doubletracking so many early songs. I was class of 1975 so I do like the seventies but because of the Beatles in the 1960's I alaways thought of the sixties as my generation even though I was in grade school in the 1960's.
What a great sound. I played with MIDI for years and years but I don't think I ever achieved anywhere near this quality. What kind of setup were you using at the time? I guess the real question is: What was generating the instrument sounds?
Thanks Mike! Mostly MIDI XG sounds because regular MIDI just doesn't cut it. I have a Yamaha PSR 740. 16 track sequencer. I connected it to my Tascam 788 Eigfht Track recorder. If you want I can give you the names of the instruments used on the keyboard.
Great song. You did a great remake of it. Thats a tough one to do with all that music. I'm really impressed with the video work, nice effects. I wouldn't mind workin together some time.

Bravo Michel tu as résumé en une seule phrase exactement ce que je ressentais

Very sweet !!!
