I don't see what you think was cut out. If you're talking about the quick cut, that could have been for any number of reasons -- uhh.., ummm..., though he didn't have many of those. I don't think I cut out an "example."
His comparison between Johns was due to McCain's frequent self-advertisement as a straight talker. "Straight Talk Express," etc. But thanks for your irrelevant attempt to score cheap political points.
Thanks for asking. He's in his studio. Many people around here (Santa Fe) have this local religious art up, as decoration or for whatever reason. In this case, these "retablos" are of St. Theresa, patron saint of writers.

I guess if you call it a quick cut. From the untrained eye, it just seemed as if his "example" was intended to be edited out.
