lol you guys kill me. Very good stuff. our potatoes had little perfectly round holes in the new potatoes themselves which are of course underground. Still trying to figure out what and how to control that.
@erochow pretty sure moles just eat worms and grubs. Voles I am not sure of though I know we have them here. Gophers and mice I'm not sure if they would eat potatoes but I know gophers will eat some young flower tubers.
Cover your plants with row cover (I use a PVC pipe frame/cage). Summer barriers allow in air, water and 90% light. When they're covered, spray Calendula oil/extract around the bottom or near gaps, or simply grow Calendula as companion plants. After those things, water using BT discs (bacillus thuringiensis), and even use BT infused water as a foliar spray. Do those things, and you'll get rid of all of your disease vectors (disease imparted by bugs), and common pests at once, and organically.
I'm in south carolina and my tomatoe leaves look like that lol
I'm supposing I have the same thing cause I see these little hopping flea type bugs in the soil, odd part is, I have them on my indoor plants and I only used miracle grow soil in both indoor and out and both are in containers and both are affected
