Fuck off Obama Ur talking shit. Y do u need credit, Ur rich. U don't need it. Furthermore no one should use it. Ur giving incentives to people to borrow money that they dont have the means to pay it back. Y do u think we are in the position we are in today?
Does she think that the president is the one in charge of decisions ? I live in Argentina, and college is free and hospitals also. Why can{t it be like that in the USA
@juliah50 Free College... well, to achieve that goal, see either (or both) of my most recent 2 videos... Let me know what you think: College tuition is SKY HIGH in the US, and my proposed solution, an online petition, which normally is *not* a good idea, might actually work... see my reasons for why I believe this, and let me know if I'm crazy, k?
I AM HEALTH INSURANCE BROKER. OBAMA IS A LIAR. HE PLAYS ON WORDS LIKE A POET. GET REAL. GO TO 4:20 PART OF THE VIDEO......HE STATES THAT DUE TO HIM, NO HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY CAN TURN YOUR CHILD DOWN FOR A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION.....THEY MUST GIVE YOUR CHILD GUARANTEED RENEWABLE COVERAGE!!!!! WHAT A CROCK. FIRST, YOU MUST BUY IT FOR YOUR CHILD. 2nd, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO AFFORD BETWEEN $100-200..00 DOLLARS A WEEK JUST TO SWING PREMIUMS FOR THAT AT RISK CHILD. not including deductibles, ect
@boxtears -- While Mr. Obama's not all bad, _I_ nonetheless MUST AGREE with you: His fiscal policies are tax-N-spend liberal, REPULSIVE to me, a life-long conservative Republican. -- Worse yet, Mr. Obama is not the worst -- there are far worse politicians: Less Government is BETTER Government like 98.6% of the time.
@GordonWayneWatts yea but he hasnt raised taxes...its such a generic talking point that you are making...what hapened to those conservative principles during the Bush era where he expanded medicare, promoted govt, etc? the GOP is filled with hypocrites.
@ihofaerefa - Correct! Dude! I'm not disagreeing with you here in re the so-called 'conservative' hypocrite FAKE Republicans. Indeed, IHofaeRefa, I ADMIT you're 100% RIGHT on that one point: My peeps in the Republican party left ME when George W. Bush promoted many tax-N-spend policies such as the prescription drug plan for seniors (where's THAT guaranteed in the Constitution LOL), or prolonged the Iraq war WAAAAY to long. We got Saddam Hussein out, good, but then we shoulda left & stayed gone.
@boxtears LOL. are you a joke...lifelong democrat my butt..honestly, you realize that its impossible for a single president to single handedly kill a country...esp with checks and balances....i want to have a real debate with you not just you making stupid points about how obama sucks.
@boxtears just so you know, we arent in a recession or a depression...i just dont get how your inflammatory language is true whatsoever. be more specific
Obviously, this lady was a Republican Plant! Look how perfect she was! That has got to be bullshit, or else the Democrat Party is in some bad-ass mama-jama trouble if peeps are splittin!
@platefullofbacon I know her personally. That was not a plant. That was my former co-worker who was sick of how much Obama has compromised in order to appear "bipartisan" in nature. We voted for someone who we though was principled and whose morals defied partisanship, but we received someone completely different.
Health insurance for those with preexisting conditions is now available, however, how will you be able to afford it? The premiums for preexisting conditions is still cost prohibitive. There is no cost containment with the health care reform bill, and wasn't that the primary reason for the health care reform bill to begin with?
@nycdude999 - Hmm... No caps on cost -- good point, and probably a CHIEF reason all my conservative peeps are so up in arms about it! There's normal & conservative people in NY, after all, as you show. (Not slamming libs - they're right once in a while on environmental or vegan things LOL)
@nycdude999 yea it creates the independent adivosry board which limits healthcare inflation to gdp growth plus 1 percent and makes recommendations to cut health care costs without that. also, the individual mandate will lower premiums bc the insurance pool will be bigger.
LOL I love how ppl say socialist ive been to socialist societys they take care of there young people who cant find work , and take care of there old people with free health care... We're in no way even close to socialism if this president was socialism he would of embraced the free health care for everyone.. He hasnt changed a single thing in this country besides corporation loop hooles that fucked the poor and middle class and your abunch of nazi morons...
She is absolutely right and major BS to future middle and lower class kids going to college. with the INSANE educaton budget cuts happening, the future will be an upper class and poverty. Middle class will be ELIMINATED. students with nothing constructive todo will become "CRIMINALS" with no hope of bettering themselves
WAIT!!!!....What happen????? Did I miss something? .......You know, like THE ANSWER???????????He never answered her question. He is a magician at beating around the bush and screwing up this country more and more everyday, or every war
As long as we have the Federal REserve we will all be slaves. BEcause every dollar that comes in to existence does so by creating debt with it. It is impossible to payoff the debt. The nature of the system is to incur more debt to service existing debt. IT is a PONZI SCHEME. End the Fed once and for all and support Ron Paul. Only then can you truly become free.
I'd like you to bear in mind that while you are watching this documentary that there is a reason Mr. Atwater, former RNC chair, could say that he didn't produce the Horton ad. It's because Roger Ailes was the one who produced it.
And I want you to remember once you've seen it how Mr. Atwater felt as he was nearing the end of his life and had time to give pause and reflect on what he did.
Then End the Zionist Federal Reserve Obama! Give the money back to the people and stop spending Trillions on War, when that money could rescue the homeless and people about to be that way. Stop murdering kids and start saving them! Stop working for Aipac and Israel.... Stop Giving Tax payer money to Israhell! 30 billion per year to be exact... thanks to BUSH!
@911Truthseekers3 RE: 'Zionist Federal Reserve': I don't know what (if any) 'Zionist' of Jewish influence there is here (and) actually, such an implication seems offensive, but otherwise, I AGREE that the Federal Reserve is NOT Constitutional, since it is apparently private. RE: 'Homeless': I AGREE the gov't has NO business in welfare or social services, since MY Bible says (Isaiah 58:6-7' Matthew 25:31-46; Acts 6:1-3) this duty belongs to the citizen and/or the church. (to be continued...)
@911Truthseekers3 - I ALSO AGREE about not murdering kids (including unborn: MY Bible, in Luke 1:41-44, calls the unborn prophet, John, a BABY, not a 'blob of tissue.') -- I also agree that we should try to save kids, but while I agree that Israel has imperfect humans in their country, what's with all this anti-Israel talk: Shouldn't we love & respect ALL people? Including Jews, Arabs, poor, rich, ETC.!! (I'm starting to sound like a liberal but hey *some* of the liberal viewpoints ARE alright.)
I have news for you obama, 2011 is the year of a currency crisis created by the bankster elite and other scum bags of the last 30 years. It will be armageddon here shortly.
@longlivetherepublic1 - While I'm not certain it will happen in 2011, I must generally agree hard times are on the horizon. For those Bible-buffs, please note that Revelation 6:6 describes an inflation SO BAD that it will take a FULL day's wages to pay for that day's food. Use a modern translation, such as the Amplified, instead of the KJV, to get a translation in plain English if you wish to verify my claim here. Now, THAT'S *BAD* inflation. LOL
And btw, you conservatives since you are so against government services, you should refrain from complaining about the roads not getting plowed and go out there and start shoveling the roads yourself.
And don't forget to keep a hose handy in case your house catches fire.
Do a search on google: the tax cut nobody heard of.
And Velma, stop watching Fox "News" on your idiot-box.
Fox "News'" president is Roger Ailes who has been a political strategist for over 40 yrs for the Republican party. It is not legitimate news. Go to color of change dot org for more info on Fox "News" .
Propaganda labels events & people with distinctive phrases or slogans, like "Obamacare". We ended up with Mitt Romney's health care plan.
@jbugko I think Fos is just another liberal news station because of their lack of personal responsibility in reporting many problems in favour of paparazzi-type glam and glitter of the rich and famous, but at least they oft-times have both sides of the debate on -to at least get a glimmer or some semblance of fair and balanced. Sometimes CNN and the NY Times will report both sides too -and for this reason, they are not totally liberal, which, in my mind is a good thing.
@jbugko - sorry I made a typo - I meant to say: "I think FOX is just another liberal CABLE news NETWORK (not ''Fos' and certainly not a mere news station, but liberal it is, and I stand by my initial statement - the 'L' word, liberal, here was not a typo.)
@jbugko dude are you serious? he thre us in a three trillion dollar deficit and thats the interest alone..there inst enough money in the world to pay it back..and to of all places three Islamic nation..which is no surprise you need to google some stuff..and stop believing things you read on the internet if he cut taxes,,wed know! and now that the gop has the house it says one thing even dems are starting to really see who he is and his lies and I am a afro american woman so please!
whatever she is who care I am just so glad a black woman says she is stuggling with it..I hate bho (I will not cap his name it doesnt deserve it) Its funny to me how It was a change he was going to make he was going to change the world..well here we are world you see any difference..yeah no one has a damn job Anyone who starts in with your left wing liberal bullshit I wont respond I know it all to well, Hes a liar. If the maj said they wanted mass suicide 4 all hed b for it to get a vote..
Yes, I do see a change, clueless. In December 2008 we lost over 500,000 jobs in one month alone. While Obama worked hard at pulling your head out of the toilet, you acted like a drunk and gave him the finger. In fact, you still do, but just because you prefer to keep your head there, don't expect people who voted for him and are thankful for his accomplishments - in the face of a lot of adversity - to appreciate your tea party circle jerk drivel.
@jbugko Pres Obama is not all bad, and his desire to cut medicare (even if it was to fund ObamaCare) is conservative, in reducing spending - and, surprisingly, Socialised medicine does seem to work better in many countries that our mess here -whether due to the fact socialism has a few good points or Americans eat BAD food -and too much of it, I don't know), but honestly, liberals like Obama and much of Congress (both tax-and-spend Democrats AND Republicans -continued -see Part II
@GordonWayneWatts you said it he is a socialist and we get you are swinging from his ball sack get over it he is a liar!! he lied to the American public and no one even sees it..wake up
@jbugko - Part II from above: Honestly, liberals like Obama & much of Congress (both taxNspend Democrats AND Republicans) are bankrupting us! Back when our nation was young, we didn't have all these social programs yet somehow people got by! -- Yes, even former Pres GW Bush was sadly a tax-and-spend liberal with his support of prescription med funding! LOL - MY religions beliefs say the CITIZEN (Matt 25:31-46; Isaiah 58:6-7) or the CHURCH (Acts 6:1-3) take care of the poor, homeless, needy, etc.
Correction: yet somehow people who weren't getting lynched or completely ignored got by. Ah the "good old days. Sure, more than 2,400 victims were hanged, kicked,or burned to death; sure, our infant mortality rate was even more embarrassing due to lack of food as well as lack of medical care, & a lot more women died in their 30s back then, but - hey - those were the good old days.
@jbugko Just because some things have gotten better (e.g., prejudice, lynching, etc.) does NOT mean ALL things got better - YOU know better than that, and I'm surprised you would even ATTEMPT to imply that EVERYTHING has gotten better - it hasn't. LOL
I wish you "conservatives" would stop romanticizing and "good old days" and at least allow our country to catch up with every other industrialized nation. My father believed in socialized medicine. He was a WWII vet who fought in the 101st Airborne, Infantry Division and was decorated by Eisenhower. And guess what? His father fought in WWI, lost a hand and sustained severe lung damage and ALSO believed in socialized medicine.
@jbugko Although I really want government out of ALL our lives, I will have 2 admit that the best case for socialism can be made by socialised medicine, since many countries WITH socialised (Japan) or Communist (China) medicine have LONGER life-spans, LOWER rates of various cancer AND CO$T less than our 'free market' type. This is the one question that Hannity's call screener was afraid 2 forward 2 him. See my personal websites to verify -click the 'Hannity' link.
Every time the people you vote for make a horrendous mess, you claim they couldn't have been "real" Republicans. Honestly.
Google-Search: Economists View the Tax Cut Zombies
ALWAYS screaming tax cuts, even during 2 occupations.
Here was when a Tax Cut was wise: Obama provided tax cuts to the middle class during a fiscal crisis. A little more in their paychecks could help to stimulate the economy your Republican Reps ruined,
@jbugko Well, I would admit that I'd rather have SPENDING cuts (and leave taxes alone), than TAX cuts (and leave spending alone. - So, I've 'seen the light' - are you happy now? (That's the problem with you liberals - you think that spending can never end, and that excessive spending has no ramifications - just ask these OTHER nations whose currency collapsed -right after runaway inflation, where it might cost -say -1 BILLION of their local currency for say a loaf of bread. Liberals!
I received a flyer from "Investment Rarities Incorporated" trying to sell a book of conservative quotes & plastered all over it were example quotes. One was:
"Government doesn't work. You work, I work, Federal Express works, Microsoft works, the Salvation Army works, Alcoholics Anonymous works, but government doesn't."
They sent their fliers via the U.S. Post Office -- not FedEx, not UPS, not they themselves. GOVERNMENT WORKERS deliver their flyers.
@jbugko (Re: post office success) Even GOVERNMENT gets it right sometimes. But as a whole, you know full well that they usually are very inefficient in most anything they do. Think: FEMA "vs" Hurricane Katrina for starters.
@jbugko i think your funny its like how he won the pelizer he didnt do shit! I am a liberal, but I am a republican and yes you can be both I dont see how you can say he worked hard at all./.hes a professional speaker.aka profession bullshitter. and puuling my head outta the tolit? what the helll is a matter with you sense he got in the office he has thrown us in a three trillion dollar deficit and thats just the intrest alone! He bailed out gfanny may and f&m and said in he wouldnt do that
It's you that is boring and totally misguided. Can't even win on a single issue and that's why you don't even try and debate me. So I'll be here whenever you want to try eventhough the simple fact is the Hussein is no good without his teleprompter. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
@bigal2761 - I would tend to agree with you, Big Gal, about BHO's need to rely on his teleprompter, and honestly, a good politician should be able to articulate his points WITHOUT aids like the teleprompter, but even the best politician needs to rely n notes from time to time, and I would rather have a conservative leader that uses a teleprompter AND notes than a tax-n-spend, gun-grabbing, pro-abortion/death liberal who can memorise his lines & points. Wouldn't you??
@raoulhery How is Obama "done" when he's still president? What you need to concentrate on is finding a viable candidate (haha) to run against him in 2012. Good luck you white devil Republicans will need it :-)
@shotokan1968 - That's pretty close to RIGHT, Shotokan1968: In fact, when the govt takes our tax dollars, we only get *some* of them back -since they have overhead costs. Therefore, social welfare programs are NOT completely efficient --and they benefit no one (except, of course, the employees of the gov't LOL).
@GordonWayneWatts Yeah! Govt social programs have overhead costs - federal employees and unions, etc - which makes them inefficient and costly. It's like the govt found a way to dump money down a hole when there is no hole to begin with.
But those federal employees and welfare recipients know who to vote for, don't they? It's like the big govt politicians are making an investment in their own personal future.
@Yetze - You are welcome - I wish to provide both sides to the debate, not just the "she was unhappy" side - because I am "fair and balanced" Republican.
Im afraid that the Republican party is currently far from fair and balanced, neither are many democrats. The fact I judge Republicans are clueless is because the majority of the voters have no clue what Obama actually did and what actually should be done in order to restore "balance" WallStreetGreed is not the balance you seek, the balancing role for the economy was, is and will always be the Government, thats rule 1 in macro economics
@Yetze - That's why I don't always vote for a Republican in the general election: Like this time, I voted for 'someone else' whenever I had the chance, and thus I voted for 2 Democrats, 1 Republican, a a bunch of other 2rd party, Tea Party or Libertarian candidates. --- Re economy: Obama & Democrats are actually taxing us less than almost all other administrations, but **spending** under both Republican AND Democrat administrations is usually sky-high. THAT is the problem to be eliminated.
Ithink your goverment is spending the money inefficiently, which is very common in superpowers where the system has become a bit rusty and outdated. The (hardly) progressive changes are needed if the country wishes to keep on track with the other Western nations. The most modern western nations actually do have free universal healthcare, high government interference, tolerance and relativly high taxing for the upper class (over 50%). I doubt those tea partiers will so any good
@Yetze - Funny you'd mention the socialised healthcare system issue: Even tho I'm conservative, that is one area about which I am genuinely confused: On the one hand, my conservative 'gut feeling' tells me that the govt has NO businesses in healthcare -on the other hand, many countries with socialized (Japan) or Communist (China) healthcare not only have less cancer, longer life-spans, etc but also CO$T much less than ours. Diet/Lifestyle may explain some of this ... but all of it? I don't know.
Remember when the press was fawning over candidate Obama & trying to convince us he was God? Remember just after he was elected, we were informed by the media that he was more than just U.S. President; he was President OF THE WORLD! Remember how Obama wowed the world and walked off w/the Nobel Peace Prize for his herculean peace efforts on the world stage? - I'm wundrin ... is Obama still God? Is he still President of the World? Is Obama being considered for another Nobel prize? - Just askin ...
She reminds me of Carol Swain, the Vanderbilt University PoliSci professor. Did you see and hear her at the Congressional Comedy Hour on CSPAN when they did the farmer illegal worker show? She claimed the illegal immigrants need to be thrown out of the country so the African-American men can have the jobs of the migrant farm workers. She was very very specific about it, very angry that the President, that the whole Congress would not listen to her, meaning, not do as she says.
he's the prez ,and should have the answers to her questions , which he obviously tap danced around and didn't give also the reason she's exhausted is from defending him , I think he's the worst prez that we've ever had , even his voters are greatly disappointed with him , Bush was stupid and clumsy but Obama is worse because he's not stupid or clumsy , just a bad prez all on his own ,
@Th3Tru3Rasta no problemo, Rasta! -- While i may not agree with all of his politics, that is not to say he isn't right some of the time - and besides, when taking potshots at Obama, it is only possible to make my case if I quote OBAMA, not just some lady talking ABOUT Mr. Obama. --- My tact here is likely to get both Obama supporters AND his opponants all hoppy, but hey, I'm a "Fair and Balanced" conservative - I report, and WE ALL decide.
He should have asked her what was her solution. She is exhausted because that little brain of hers cant contemplate just how complex the economy is. She should be exhausted.
@TheCaliCapitalist That is a very wise assessment, CC. Indeed, the burden of providing a proposed solution falls primarily upon the person making the complaint of the problem. That's not to say that the Prez is totally "off the hook," but it would be inherently unfair to place the full burden on any 1 person (Obama included). Hopefully, in the Op-Ed position paper on Higher-Ed (linked in the video description above) I provide just such an analysis AND proposed solutions & proposed legislation.
In other words, you can see my Op-Ed either as a front-page news item ion my 2 name-sake blogs -or, also by clicking a mirror link where I expoind on a question that PeanutsDog asked me. -- It ISN'T intuitive, and that's why I wrote the op-ed/ -- PS: While tuition has been going up, quality HAS been going own - it's not anyone's imagination. (This is a sad, sick country., but we're all stuck here -most of us anyhow -for now.)
Damn Obama's good...but he's still not fixing anything. What he was saying about taking money that was subsidizing the private student loan industry instead going straight to the students sounds like a good thing (though I'm sure someone who's more informed about it could explain to me why when you read the fine print it is not)...but it still does nothing to address the problems of extremely high tuition rates which keep rising and the quality of education which keeps falling.
@LJPpro You're right: See the video comments (expand them by clicking the button to the immediate left of the 16,211 Views icon), to see my op-ed "Higher-Ed Tuition Costs: The ‘Conservative’ view is not on either extreme": Before we 'threw money at' Higher-Ed (colleges, universities), tuition was LOW, even adjusted for inflation, but now that universities know a student can afford sky-high tuition by taking out HUGE college loans (guaranteed by Uncle Sam), they raised tuition accordingly.
@GordonWayneWatts thanks. It's funny, I wrote the comment before getting to the end of the video where what you say basically confirms what I wrote.
I wish government would at least stay out of such sacred things to a society as education and health care..It's just not right to corrupt these things which are so important in our lives.
Plus, I can't help but wonder how people couldn't have foreseen the impact of the government intervention in student loans leading to higher tuition.
@LJPpro no problemo - your assessment of the fact it's surprising that they couldn't've (could not have) seen is (in my humble opinion) quite correct. -- One wonders how these people can tue their shoes each day (maybe they wear velcro-strap shoes!)
@GordonWayneWatts ha, I wouldn't doubt some require the velcro strap shoes. I actually remember seeing a piece on t v about Barney Frank and kid you not, he was walking to a meeting with his shoes untied...the people doing the piece (60 minutes maybe) said he was so busy he probably didn't even have time..Maybe. But I still think he's a dolt.
I find that Peter Schiff, one of few economists who predicted the recession, is very in line with what we're saying.
@LJPpro what coincidene - I just checked for new coments & views apparently 5 minutes B4 yr post -- well, I never heard about Rep. Frank, but that wouldn't surprise me... he heh.! -- PS: i don't know how come *this* vid is getting boatloads of hits (probably embedded on some tuff strong blogs), but it's all good with me.
@dahotstepper2010 well said, but read my Op-Ed linked in the vid description, where I answer PeanutsDog in more detail -click the expand button & read THAT article -& follow the one link i put in there about Higher Ed's skyrocketing tuition -and PRINT IT OUT -and read fully -and THEN you'll have plenty of ammo to fire off at both Democrats AND Republicans -so load up -WWIII is coming. Fire when ready!
@dahotstepper2010 - Well, this plan (if that's all it entails) is not necessarily bad: For even the Bible (Luke 12:48) basically says that the more you have, the more you are held accountable, and I guess this would include greater taxes on the rich. (Remember: Jesus told that ONE "rich young ruler" to give ALL his stuff away) -- But my beef with liberals is that they don't stop there: Obama's tax plan isn't bad but spending is obscene: both Republicans' AND Democrats spend like drunk sailors LOL
@dahotstepper2010 - Remember: When the gov't subsidises anything, this is an influx of tax dollars, and we all know that subsidies distort the market - you know your basic economic theory (or at least, you read my 'Skyrocketing Tuition' op-ed in Higher Ed listed in the front-page news of my personal blogs, right? "Research"?? We spend more on healthcare, yet have much sicker people than many countries, so any "other" funding (e.g., research) is suspect from the GET go!
@dahotstepper2010 - Cutting taxes without adding to the deficit? Not possibly unless some spending was cut and/or some other taxes were raised. --- Also, a stimulus must be paid somehow, and printing money (the typicval method) has an inflaionary effect, as more dollars chase the same number of goods. -- Forgiveness of unjust loans is thr Biblican method -and Loan forgiveness (example: Year of Jubileee in the Bible) does NOT have an inflationary effect. BIBLE method Good. Liberal plan: BAD.
@dahotstepper2010 - Efforts? Yes. Effective? NO. I would do away with all unemployment comp, since it basically is like gambling: You put in ALL the money that goes in, but you only get *some* of it back (due to overhead costs, etc.) -- And furthermore, not only is unemplyoment comp NOT a consitutional guarentee, but moreover, it offers an incintive for a person to stay out of work. COUNTER-productive. I'M an unempolyed Republican, but I oppose unemplyment comp, so it is obviously not good.
@isd138 Well said bears repeating "Although the Republicans are in general the lesser of the two evils, they spend allot of money with few results in a similar way to the Democrats. The Democrats are just better educated idiots then the Republicans who appear to hold the same positions on a slower time scale. We need lower taxes and less government spending, so we can start riding this economy slowly back up, but don't expect ether party to cut taxes or spending. Also we would need to know her.
@dahotstepper2010 - I would agree with you that she's impatient - IF Obama & Lawmaking cronies ARE indeed making progres (even if it's small progress), but as Isd138 and I would both agree: Both sides are evil --- even IF we disagree as to which side is the 'lesser' of 2 evils, all the same: BOTH sides are tax-and-spend liberals who will (if given time and chance) devalue the dollar by excessive spending taxing & printing of dollars so that the dollar becomes worth about as much as a TREE leaf !
@dahotstepper2010 sounds more and more to me like she was successful under Bush's administration but is 'tanking' under Obama's administration. -- Not that the Republicans are all angels or anything, but your point is valid:
If she got that rich under Bush and fellow-Republicans (who controled both houses there for a while), then even THOUGH Bush & co. were NOT VERY BRIGHT tax-n-spend liberals, they were apparently the 'lesser of the 2 evils,' when compared with Democrats.
@dahotstepper2010 - Wow - how'd you do that? You can post, but your channel's not there - that is your you tube channel. -Oh, I'd just like a boatload of miracles... The righteous advocate (1st Jn 2:1-2) knows.!
@dahotstepper2010 DUDE! -- I clicked on your name, & it said: "This channel is not available." --- What up, Big Dog!? -- Did U delete yourself? Or, rather, did YouTube delete you. Speak to Flash!
When did President Obama become Jesus or your account or the esc. Look make yourself better take this slow time to get better training but cheap stocks. Cut your grass yourself. He is just a man you been working at your job for years and I bet there are still things you cant do. And Mrs. Hart if your listening you have a job and you look like your eating just fine. STOP complaining
When did President Obama become Jesus or your account or the esc. Look make yourself better take this slow time to get better training but cheap stocks. Cut your grass yourself. Thanks for the clip Gordon, did you know that Fannie May and Freddie Mac, bailed out by the government, are now owned by the federal government? Obama brought college education and tuition, yet not only has tuition skyrocketed since he's been in office but now students who take out loans owe money to the federal government, are not able to default if they cannot pay which wasn't the case before he was in office. And yet misguided college liberals say to me that Obama is out there to help us LOL!
@skinwaIker1731182194 Yr welcome. I admit I was not aware just HOW much the govt owned Higher Ed, but I did hear that Uncle Sam wanted to get private lender out of the equation, which means the only loans available are Socialist in nature, no Free Market LOL. - Liberals may think all is well now, but when the Education bubble bursts just like the housing bubble did, THEN liberals will understand the harm caused by the interferance in the free market, but then it will likely be 'too late.'
@ BronzeCop - RE the Op-Ed in I reference: I can't post a direclt link in my 'comments' here, but either go to my personal pages (GORDONWatts -d0t c0m or GordonWAYNEWatts d0t- c0m --misspelled to get past filters) -and once there, see the front page news & the link on 'Skyrocketing Tuition' for Higher-Ed --or, alternatively, click the expand button my the video here & see the video description, where I give a detailed answer to PeanutsDog --the link is there. I'd print it out for offline review.
Hopefully November will bring the change we need with common sense and conservative values - and yes God's help too. Obama is leading us in the wrong direction and needs to be stopped asap!
This video owner must be a fool to ask government key men like the President to cut their salaries. The president earns $400,000 a year and no other elected representative earns higher. How much does a nonentity basketball player earn,or a celebrity TV host. How much does a CEO of a 10 billion dollar company earn. The president is the CEO of a 10 trillion dollar company and risks his life literally everyday on the job.
@oseiwe1 I admit U have a valid point on the RELATIVE pay difference (the Prez DOES deserve more than say a basketball player or even a CEO of a private company) BUT u don't get the ABSOLUTE truth: 2 wrongs don't make right: The prez is NOT worth that. Since U seem religious (I saw yr profile) u should agree with 1st Timothy 5:17 that an elder (Obama) is only due DOUBLE the average working stiff's pay & Jesus' word in LUKE 10:13-14 to all gov't worker to NOT get paid an obscene salary.! -LOL
@sf3038 Huh? A liar? but the healthcare reform he promised is instated & I will get my universal healthcare healthcard next term. He instated college reform where me & my co-worker can continue our college since the limit for making each year is now raised to $45000 a year to get Financial Aid. & the $8000 tax break I got from Obama for being a new homeowner helped me out. & now you think hes not going to give the average man tax cuts? Ummmm yeah, Obama hasnt failed me so far buddy.
@Bronzecop I'm glad that Obama heled you. The President hasn't been ALL bad for our economy (tax break is 1 example here) but U miss 1 key point: The ability to take out a LARGER loan is not good but rather BAD: See my personal page's front page news for the original version of the 'Skyrocketing Tuition' Op-Ed that published in the Tampa Tribune: When U can take out more debt, colleges raise tuition accordingly & thus rip off you, the student. READ (& print out a copy of) my Op-Ed -and THEN talk
@Bronzecop It would be good if all graduates were guarenteed that they would be able to pay back their tuition (and even better if they were guarenteed that they'd have FREE tuition -like I hear the military currently offers, but the latter is not fair, as I'm not a free-handout liberal, so I'll stick with simply at least getting it but being able tp pay it back) -- However, sadly we don't live in a fair world - not yet anyhow. The Big Man (God) is returning, and all will change -in time.
@GordonWayneWatts If you think all the ppl around here getting their bachelor's for free because of the College Reform a handout, I'm just going to laugh at you & have a drink. People pay that back through taxes, once someone gets a job paying average middle class wages they pay more back than what they took. Why do you think Central & Northern Europe is so successful? God is nice & everything but waiting for salvation is pointless.
@Bronzecop "all the ppl around here getting their bachelor's for free"?? - huh? While I do admit that many people with LOWER gpa's than myself have gotten scholarships when I was illegally denied reinstatement of mine even tho I got MY gpa back up (almost a 4.0 mind you), nonetheless, you need not laugh at me: I am fully aware that free schooling is less often -obviously because tuition is skyrocketing. -BTW, did you read my op-ed? It also published in the Tampa Tribune. It addresses this issue.
His ideas are way too long term. We can't just set up things so people can get to college easier or people can get in to the middle class easier. That will e fixed if we just get businesses to start functioning better again. He's just never going to do anything helpful.
America is not the richest country in the world. It ranks 8th in per capita income. Hate the wealthy? Give to the less fortunate? "Even the playing field" ? Others are:
Brazil $8,135
Venezuela $11,444
India $1,054
China $3,212
Norway $72,300
Luxembourg $88,000
USA $45,835
To even the playing field, we must "de-develop the rich countries" , redistribute the wealth globally (take your income). How does socialism look to you now? I don't think black Americans are going to get anything from Obama.
He didn't answer her question. What he needed to say was 'yes' or 'no' ....she asked if this was her new reality; honestly, as long as he's in office, it is.
@bigal2761 He engages his brain before speaking, which is more than I can say for you or his dumbass predecessor Bush. Shut up, listen and concentrate. You WILL learn something.
@ezekielthemack At least I don't have chicken crap in my ears like you and your friends who put him in and in the process he is ruining this country worse than Bush ever has. Yes, you will learn that he is going to be a one termer like Carter. Clean the crap out of your ears, listen up, think for yourself and maybe someday you'll see reality.
@bigal2761 You're quite right, you don't have chicken crap in your ear, you have it in your entire body, because you're full of shit like most Republicans!! Only a myopic jackass like you could suggest that Bush is a better President than President Obama. You're obviously related to Palin and just as fucking dumb. Remember, it is better to be considered a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt as you've just done.
@ezekielthemack Bush had his problems (so much so that even fellow-Republicabns such as myself don't cut him any slack), but don't just spout off: Tell us what YOUR grip with Bush was. Here, let me give U a few examples: Bush's tax-N-spend stupidity re Prescription drugs HURT$ our economy, and while Sadamnm Hussein WAS a WMD, once we got rid of him, we should have left. After a point, the benefits were less than the costs in Iraq (even tho I'm glad we accomplshed much early onm) -get the drift??
@GordonWayneWatts BUSH was a complete disaster - that's precisely what my gripe with him is.As for your assertion that Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction, this is precisely why the Republican party are so delusional. If your assertion IS true, then where the hell are the WMDs? As a consequence you have thousands of young men dead and hundreds of thousands of civilians dead, all for the sake of OIL.
@ezekielthemack I'm not saying Saddam Husein HAD wmd, but if he didn't why would he lie about it and say he did -and make such idle threats? FURTHERMORE, even IF he didn't, such threats can not go unchecked - like how he killed his OWN people in mass numbers. (Thus Saddam Hussein HIMSELF was a WMD -and needed 2B removed.) -Furthermore, I don't defend Bush's continued stay in Iraq -once we has Mission Accomplished, we shoulda LEFT already. See not all 'conservatives' are narrow-minded.
@ezekielthemack Ohhh my! I thought only Republicans and Conservatives were suppose to be hateful and mean-spirited. You're very good at it! However, if name calling makes you feel better about defending your no good president; then go ahead. I've been called worse by better. Fools cannot see what's in front of them that this country is going down the drain, eventhough you think everything is wonderful. I think it's very fitting that the Democratic party symbol is a dumb jackass.
@bigal2761 Republicans ARE idiot hateful and mean spirited. Personally I don't hate anybody - not even you. What I do hate however, is myopia and ignorance, which you clearly possess in large quantities.
@ezekielthemack For somebody who does'nt hate, you certainly have a lot of anger management issues. I could say that you are blind and ignorant for not seeing what is going on in this country. (But I won't Ha Ha) So take heed of the words from Hussein your Messiah and "Buck up" and I'll be the better person and leave you with the last word since I've had plenty of fun with you for now. I'll probably have more fun with you after the election when the Dems take a "BLOODBATH". Peace Brother!
@bigal2761 The tenor of my assertions contain no semblance of anger, so your argument is completely unfounded, but then that's to be expected as you're a typical ignorant Republican. Here's some homework for you: Find Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria on a map, that you should take you about six months at best LOL Fool. Too easy.
ezekielthemack is just another retarded troll who offers no intelligent discussion (he's a liberal, big surprise on that one) and just flings insults like he probably flings his own poo seeing how he is the mental equivalent (and most likely aesthetically equivalent) of a monkey. Great job demonstrating what a massive tool you are, we're all laughing at you... seriously.
@ezekielthemack Hey EzyMack. Are you sad? I'm sure you were after the election. I can offer you a hand in the spirit of Bi-partisianship. I think the people have spoken against Hussein's radical socialist agenda. I think the election showed some very big anger against him eventhough you will not see it. By the way, I found all those places in about six seconds and I'm a registered independent. PROUD Conservative independent that is!
@bigal2761 Actually I am sad, sad that their are so many white racist devils on the planet like you. Hopefully Al-Quaeda will get the job done PROPERLY next time. Now go fuck off and die you white piece of trash.
@ezekielthemack Ahhh; like I've said, I've been called worse by better. Such a shame that you can't even win on a single issue and that you feel that you have to spew your filthy hate and insults at a fellow American. Oh well, I'm sure you'll only be suffering from "Obama defense fatigue syndrome" for a couple of more years.
@bigal2761 I've won on EVERY issue that I've debated with you, but in typical Republican fashion, you are too retarded to know when you've lost a debate/argument . Good luck in your quest for a new brain.Too easy.
@ezekielthemack Really?! Prove it! All you have done is throw insults at me and have'nt even tried to debate me on facts. It seems like you would be happier living in the dictatorship of Iran. You can have free speech as long as you agree with the Gov't. and they kill their political opposition too. Be careful who you wish death on; because I'm sure that just as many if not more Libs died on 9-11 than conservatives. Al-Queda don't care if you're sympathetic to them or not. You too are infidel!
@bigal276 ZZZZZ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Get back to me when you start to sound intelligent (i.e. never) ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz You're boring er Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I actually think you're a pretty big retard who probably needs to google search the world "myopic" to use it as an insult. Sadly you are a great representation of all retarded liberals out there... wait retarded liberal is a redundancy.
@skinwaIker1731182194 YOU may have to google words - I don't because I have a very extensive vocabulary - unlike you. I suggest that it is YOU that has a very limited vocabulary and are clearly intimidated by MY vocabulary. Myopic isn't even a "big" word to me, but it obviously is to you. Now get back to your trailer and buy a brain you dumb dickhead. Don't be foolish, I will embarrass you.
LOL get over yourself you fine example of a liberal jackass. Please do not pass yourself off as some pretentious pseudo intellectual and at the same time tell me to "buy a brain" like some immature grade schooler and leave intelligent discussion to the real erudite individuals.
@skinwaIker1731182194 Uh ah ah! no name calling, especially when it is YOU that is clearly and discernibly the jackass. You must be the 100th white Republican fool who has used the spurious term pseudo-intellectual, so let me school you: There is NO SUCH TERM!!!, you are either an intellectual (which I am!), or you are not (i.e. YOU).Don't embarrass yourself any further as I haven't even begun to use a quarter of my intelligence on a fool like you. Now shut up and be quiet. Asshole.
The Presedent spoke of long term goals? How are they to be acheived when the trust of the American people isn't there as it should be and he doesn't get re-elected? Only way I can see that happening at the moment is like when Bush ran against McCain? One has to chose the lesser of the two goofs and go from there. That's a sad way for change, Mr President..

GordonWayneWatts 5 months ago 2

Health insurance for those with preexisting conditions is now available, however, how will you be able to afford it? The premiums for preexisting conditions is still cost prohibitive. There is no cost containment with the health care reform bill, and wasn't that the primary reason for the health care reform bill to begin with?
nycdude999 7 months ago 3
@nycdude999 - Hmm... No caps on cost -- good point, and probably a CHIEF reason all my conservative peeps are so up in arms about it! There's normal & conservative people in NY, after all, as you show. (Not slamming libs - they're right once in a while on environmental or vegan things LOL)
GordonWayneWatts 7 months ago
@nycdude999 yea it creates the independent adivosry board which limits healthcare inflation to gdp growth plus 1 percent and makes recommendations to cut health care costs without that. also, the individual mandate will lower premiums bc the insurance pool will be bigger.

GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago

GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@jbugko - sorry I made a typo - I meant to say: "I think FOX is just another liberal CABLE news NETWORK (not ''Fos' and certainly not a mere news station, but liberal it is, and I stand by my initial statement - the 'L' word, liberal, here was not a typo.)

Sure, more than 2,400 victims were hanged, kicked,or burned to death; sure, our infant mortality rate was even more embarrassing due to lack of food as well as lack of medical care, & a lot more women died in their 30s back then, but - hey - those were the good old days.
jbugko 1 year ago
@jbugko Just because some things have gotten better (e.g., prejudice, lynching, etc.) does NOT mean ALL things got better - YOU know better than that, and I'm surprised you would even ATTEMPT to imply that EVERYTHING has gotten better - it hasn't. LOL

A DEMOCRACY ACKNOWLEDGES ITS CITIZENS.
His father fought in WWI, lost a hand and sustained severe lung damage and ALSO believed in socialized medicine.
jbugko 1 year ago
@jbugko Although I really want government out of ALL our lives, I will have 2 admit that the best case for socialism can be made by socialised medicine, since many countries WITH socialised (Japan) or Communist (China) medicine have LONGER life-spans, LOWER rates of various cancer AND CO$T less than our 'free market' type. This is the one question that Hannity's call screener was afraid 2 forward 2 him. See my personal websites to verify -click the 'Hannity' link.

Which i typical.

shotokan1968 1 year ago 4
@shotokan1968 - That's pretty close to RIGHT, Shotokan1968: In fact, when the govt takes our tax dollars, we only get *some* of them back -since they have overhead costs. Therefore, social welfare programs are NOT completely efficient --and they benefit no one (except, of course, the employees of the gov't LOL).
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 3
@GordonWayneWatts Yeah! Govt social programs have overhead costs - federal employees and unions, etc - which makes them inefficient and costly. It's like the govt found a way to dump money down a hole when there is no hole to begin with.
But those federal employees and welfare recipients know who to vote for, don't they? It's like the big govt politicians are making an investment in their own personal future.
Sweet deal, huh?

@Yetze - You are welcome - I wish to provide both sides to the debate, not just the "she was unhappy" side - because I am "fair and balanced" Republican.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@GordonWayneWatts
Yetze 1 year ago
@Yetze - That's why I don't always vote for a Republican in the general election: Like this time, I voted for 'someone else' whenever I had the chance, and thus I voted for 2 Democrats, 1 Republican, a a bunch of other 2rd party, Tea Party or Libertarian candidates. --- Re economy: Obama & Democrats are actually taxing us less than almost all other administrations, but **spending** under both Republican AND Democrat administrations is usually sky-high. THAT is the problem to be eliminated.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@GordonWayneWatts
I doubt those tea partiers will so any good
Yetze 1 year ago
@Yetze - Funny you'd mention the socialised healthcare system issue: Even tho I'm conservative, that is one area about which I am genuinely confused: On the one hand, my conservative 'gut feeling' tells me that the govt has NO businesses in healthcare -on the other hand, many countries with socialized (Japan) or Communist (China) healthcare not only have less cancer, longer life-spans, etc but also CO$T much less than ours. Diet/Lifestyle may explain some of this ... but all of it? I don't know.

She was very very specific about it, very angry that the President, that the whole Congress would not listen to her, meaning, not do as she says.

TheCaliCapitalist 1 year ago
@TheCaliCapitalist That is a very wise assessment, CC. Indeed, the burden of providing a proposed solution falls primarily upon the person making the complaint of the problem. That's not to say that the Prez is totally "off the hook," but it would be inherently unfair to place the full burden on any 1 person (Obama included). Hopefully, in the Op-Ed position paper on Higher-Ed (linked in the video description above) I provide just such an analysis AND proposed solutions & proposed legislation.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 2
In other words, you can see my Op-Ed either as a front-page news item ion my 2 name-sake blogs -or, also by clicking a mirror link where I expoind on a question that PeanutsDog asked me. -- It ISN'T intuitive, and that's why I wrote the op-ed/ -- PS: While tuition has been going up, quality HAS been going own - it's not anyone's imagination. (This is a sad, sick country., but we're all stuck here -most of us anyhow -for now.)
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 2
Damn Obama's good...but he's still not fixing anything. What he was saying about taking money that was subsidizing the private student loan industry instead going straight to the students sounds like a good thing (though I'm sure someone who's more informed about it could explain to me why when you read the fine print it is not)...but it still does nothing to address the problems of extremely high tuition rates which keep rising and the quality of education which keeps falling.
LJPpro 1 year ago 4
@LJPpro You're right: See the video comments (expand them by clicking the button to the immediate left of the 16,211 Views icon), to see my op-ed "Higher-Ed Tuition Costs: The ‘Conservative’ view is not on either extreme": Before we 'threw money at' Higher-Ed (colleges, universities), tuition was LOW, even adjusted for inflation, but now that universities know a student can afford sky-high tuition by taking out HUGE college loans (guaranteed by Uncle Sam), they raised tuition accordingly.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 2
@GordonWayneWatts thanks. It's funny, I wrote the comment before getting to the end of the video where what you say basically confirms what I wrote.
I wish government would at least stay out of such sacred things to a society as education and health care..It's just not right to corrupt these things which are so important in our lives.
Plus, I can't help but wonder how people couldn't have foreseen the impact of the government intervention in student loans leading to higher tuition.
LJPpro 1 year ago
@LJPpro no problemo - your assessment of the fact it's surprising that they couldn't've (could not have) seen is (in my humble opinion) quite correct. -- One wonders how these people can tue their shoes each day (maybe they wear velcro-strap shoes!)
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@GordonWayneWatts ha, I wouldn't doubt some require the velcro strap shoes. I actually remember seeing a piece on t v about Barney Frank and kid you not, he was walking to a meeting with his shoes untied...the people doing the piece (60 minutes maybe) said he was so busy he probably didn't even have time..Maybe. But I still think he's a dolt.

Fire when ready!
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 2
@dahotstepper2010 - Well, this plan (if that's all it entails) is not necessarily bad: For even the Bible (Luke 12:48) basically says that the more you have, the more you are held accountable, and I guess this would include greater taxes on the rich. (Remember: Jesus told that ONE "rich young ruler" to give ALL his stuff away) -- But my beef with liberals is that they don't stop there: Obama's tax plan isn't bad but spending is obscene: both Republicans' AND Democrats spend like drunk sailors LOL
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 2
@dahotstepper2010 - Remember: When the gov't subsidises anything, this is an influx of tax dollars, and we all know that subsidies distort the market - you know your basic economic theory (or at least, you read my 'Skyrocketing Tuition' op-ed in Higher Ed listed in the front-page news of my personal blogs, right? "Research"?? We spend more on healthcare, yet have much sicker people than many countries, so any "other" funding (e.g., research) is suspect from the GET go!
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago 2
@dahotstepper2010 - Cutting taxes without adding to the deficit? Not possibly unless some spending was cut and/or some other taxes were raised. --- Also, a stimulus must be paid somehow, and printing money (the typicval method) has an inflaionary effect, as more dollars chase the same number of goods. -- Forgiveness of unjust loans is thr Biblican method -and Loan forgiveness (example: Year of Jubileee in the Bible) does NOT have an inflationary effect. BIBLE method Good. Liberal plan: BAD.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@dahotstepper2010 - Efforts? Yes. Effective? NO. I would do away with all unemployment comp, since it basically is like gambling: You put in ALL the money that goes in, but you only get *some* of it back (due to overhead costs, etc.) -- And furthermore, not only is unemplyoment comp NOT a consitutional guarentee, but moreover, it offers an incintive for a person to stay out of work. COUNTER-productive. I'M an unempolyed Republican, but I oppose unemplyment comp, so it is obviously not good.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@isd138 Well said bears repeating "Although the Republicans are in general the lesser of the two evils, they spend allot of money with few results in a similar way to the Democrats. The Democrats are just better educated idiots then the Republicans who appear to hold the same positions on a slower time scale. We need lower taxes and less government spending, so we can start riding this economy slowly back up, but don't expect ether party to cut taxes or spending. Also we would need to know her.
GordonWayneWatts 1 year ago
@dahotstepper2010 - I would agree with you that she's impatient - IF Obama & Lawmaking cronies ARE indeed making progres (even if it's small progress), but as Isd138 and I would both agree: Both sides are evil --- even IF we disagree as to which side is the 'lesser' of 2 evils, all the same: BOTH sides are tax-and-spend liberals who will (if given time and chance) devalue the dollar by excessive spending taxing & printing of dollars so that the dollar becomes worth about as much as a TREE leaf !

India $1,054
China $3,212
Norway $72,300
