  • Hi, do you know how to remove or lower that echoing that occurs on several patch on the juno? You know, when you press down one key and the sound seems to fade away with an echoing sound.

  • Thank you! Great video!

  • I couldn't find PR-F 36 on my Juno-G. But I did find patch 154 which has the same name: OB Slow St. I did what Dirk said and it sounds great. Thanks!

  • ekstra 5*****

  • Veryy nice!

The default 'Natural Lead' sounds also very much like the jump sound :)

  • Juno-G as a ''Jump'' patch alread :P

  • nice work man!

  • a jp six underneath lol it could probly opump out a decent OBX-a sound

  • Use the saw wave with synth brass 1..add some cutoff, decrease -3 release, add some chorus 3 about 60,and stereo reverb depending on how you like but 80-90 reverb should be enough..

  • Hey bro, try using the saw wave in this song Jump...

  • Very good man.

  • hi i already follow the instructions, but theres one part i dont understand:

"use 25%-35% release, transpose down -1 octave."

Can you explain that please, i would really appreciate that.

  • He's saying turn the release knob until it's sitting around 30%... and press the transpose octave button down once (it will say -1 on your screen).

  • One of the nicest recreations of one of those "holy grail" synth patches I've ever seen.

  • good job!

  • Will someone tell me what the hell is a patch?

  • You have to make it. The instructions are below.

  • Oh does it mean to get particular sounds?

  • a sound

  • Could you maybe inform us on how the patch is setup?

    Sounds awesome.

  • To make this sound on the Juno-G, select and edit preset PR-F 36 (OB Slow St). Increase cutoff 100%, decrease resonance 100%, decrease attack 100%, use 25%-35% release, transpose down -1 octave.

  • Thank you so much! I'm the same guy just different uname

  • that`s a fat sound folk!!!!! : )

  • Finally, a video that displays the Juno G's power.

  • Prety good. But that Jupiter 8 hiding down there is better!!!

  • It's a Jupiter 6. I just put the Europa mod in it that updates the MIDI spec, etc. It is killer!

  • Nice job!

  • sounds okay

  • Cool, really can hear an Obx/Obxa in there!!

  • Sounds awasome.

  • Ensoniq SD1 has a great Jump Brass

  • To make this sound on the Juno-G, select and edit preset PR-F 36 (OB Slow St). Increase cutoff 100%, decrease resonance 100%, decrease attack 100%, use 25%-35% release, transpose down -1 octave.

  • why don't you simply use "Jump Brass". it IS the sound for Jump.

  • Are you talking about patch GM-136 Jump Brass? I find it too clean, too brassy and not gritty enough. Just my opinion. I have found that other than using an Oberheim (and not the Matrix series either), the closest emulation I have ever heard came from a Kurzweil K2000.

  • Odd, my PR-F starts at 80 or something I can't find the PR-F 36

  • Thanks for sharing! I'm still learning everything the Juno G can do and I'm loving it! Do you have any other cool sounds that you have figured out?

  • you wanna know hot to reproduce the Jump sound ? You take : Jump Brass on your Juno-G , and then you tranpose the keyboard -12, and the low notes, you take the two first C's of the keyboard. You gonna have the exact note. And don't ever try to reproduce the sound without transposing your keyboard, it's impossible.

  • what was the patch # you used as the base?

  • Sounds just about perfect to me!

  • that was preety good!
