  • Great vid! It's good to see that you show the mistake as well and what can happen. Thanks!!!!

  • Gracias amigo!

  • what do you mean? Meth man...

  • How do you get a pump pulley off?

  • Thanks brother. I appreciate the tip, helped me a bunch. Even if I did have to wait for my fiancee to drive me to the autoparts store to buy the pulley puller since I had my vehicle disassembled already.

  • thank you for your time..learn a lot from this tut...thumbs up (^_^)

  • Thank YOU ..I just bought a 66 Riviera and the pully is just slightly bent..do I have to take off the hole power steering pump to replace the pulley ???

  • Thanks brother.

  • Thank you.

  • one more thing for everyone else watching, never, ever, ever install your pulley with a hammer.

that pump is sensitive on the insides. Very Easy to break or loosen something in the pump.

  • thanks for this video, just what i was looking for!

  • Thanks a lot. You saved me a lot of time & money. This is exactly what I was looking for.

  • thankyou very much you just saved me some time and money

  • Thanx u did good

  • you the man!!!!! been slammin on mine for 2 days with a sledge lol youtube first video took me 5 mins since i knew what to do with the tool hahahahahahahaha so thats what the hell that bolt is for didnt see the threads on the pump shaft thx man 50 dollar tool rental thats it.....

  • Lay off the caffeine

  • yeah....50 dollar mistake for me, stuck a screwdriver in one of the holes, bent the plastic pulley and buggered the inside a little.

kit isn't as easy as I thought. I put the bolt down, then snugged the nut up, and when I turned....the shaft spun after tightening it a lil bit...use some lube in there, maybe that helps.

oh...and don't pound it on the a hammer, also stupid....

  • this guy is on fucking speed lol

  • this guy took to much damn speed!

  • so i guess this was a video on how not to do something?

  • awesome, thanks for showing how to put a pulley back on, mine is PLASTIC and I didn't want to break it.

  • all you need is a power steering pump pulley puller

  • a delaership was tring to charge 950 to replace a power steering pump and bleed the lines

  • bravo, i think mine is bent too since i didnt use a pulley puller kit...i just stuck a long 3/8 socket extensioner into the holes of the pulley to hold it down while i did the nut in the front...and now no matter how tight the belts are, it alwase wobbles...damn it its gonna be a 50 dollars mistake...hope you guys get a kit as i will next time when installing the damn ps pump again
