Pretty obvious you're pointing out me pointing out the obvious. I've been thinking of how to possibly spread the warmth of one's breath further though. Copper pipes would be too obvious, obviously. Maybe a certain blend of the paint could change with less of a temperature difference, or somehow having the mask heated could help.

@Efreeti well, I live in Australia where it's pretty warm most of the time. This would probably (I'm guessing) give the opposite effect with the mask; you would change the pattern by cooling it down - which would obviously be done by the natural act of breathing in. Alternatively, the heat here would just do as you say, and make the patterns change with less of a temperature difference.

Although I'm guessing moving to Australia isn't a feasible option for most =P
