Also, Paul encouraged the church to speak in tongues, for that is how we pray in the Spirit. I think you meant to say that "we have control over our own spirit man". You CANNOT CONTROL the HOLY GHOST. He is the Spirit that testifies of Jesus Christ. Because we are spirit beings, we can control how we are going to respond when the Presence of the Holy Ghost is manifested. For example, if we feel like we want to shout but choose not to, we have CONTROLLED ourselves. The HOLY GHOST cannot be controlled BUT, He can be grieved or quenched like scriptures states.
The Bible also says that God is not a God of chaos but of peace.
This looks like everyone is out of their mind, which Paul warned against in 1 Corinthians. They should exercise self control, other wise people will think they are crazy!

Well, what happened in Acts 2 is, the apostles spoke(they were Galilaean) and everyone in the multitude understood them. They spoke once and the people from all 18 languages understood what the said. That was the sign. They did not worship in tongues that is not what the Bible says. Please read your King James Version... thanks.

What is contained in the video is not contained in the Bible. The first church to practice this was the Quakers. Are you misreading your Bible or have you not read a history book?

OK, let me rephrase a little, The Quakers practiced this, but were not the first ones, the first ones were in Pentecost, and those that followed the Doctrine of Jesus were called Christians for the first time, this was waaaay before your Quakers. Read the history of the Roman Empire(have u heard of the catacumbs?)if no, then study before making comments with no foundation.

no dino...you please read the king james version...no where does it say they spoke to God...it clearly says they spoke with other tongues and people from othe places heard in their own language...not this...this is what Paul spoke against in I corinthians.

Prayer is important but God won't do every single little thing. Also I joke around sometimes, but I'm correcting out of love. Also it is my place to judge because I have the autherity. 1st Corintians 6:4, Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?

you are out of context. you are applying that scripture at the wrong time on the prophetic timeline. We are Christians, that will be perfected(Rapture), then we will be saints(with no blemish).You should study the Second Coming(differs from Rapture), this is where that scripture u r quoting will be relevant.

the bible says that if tongues is spoken it is to be one at a time,must be atleast 2-3 or more people involved and someone must interpret...I wont say this is a farce I will only say it doesnt follow what the bible says about tongues...2nd,tongues in the bible is misinterpreted...most think the 1st evidence of speaking in tongues is this when actually it meant they could go and talk with people of diff languages and they would understand.

You are completely correct. I watched this vid and wondered (what the hell is going on) why these people follow the doctorin of men blindly. Why they don't seek answeres for themselves. When I read the Bible it always describes the Holy Ghost as a comforter and teacher that will answer questions through prayer. Also I don't think Christ would scream and shout and roll around on the ground uncontrollably.

Read Acts Chapter 2 where thousands were gather up in the highest room in one mind accord...they all spoke in tounges with receiving the holyghost...this is whats happening...when one speak in tounges they speak with God...please read ur New King James Version bible...thanks :)

Well, what happened in Acts 2 is, the apostles spoke(they were Galilaean) and everyone in the multitude understood them. They spoke once and the people from all 18 languages understood what the said. That was the sign. They did not worship in tongues that is not what the Bible says. Please read your King James Version... thanks.
