  • Thanks for the suggestion.

It would be a LOT cheaper to buy the turntable rather than re-purchase all of my vinyl material on iTunes.

And thanks again for posting this tune. 'Glad to see Yesterday & Today on YouTube! :)

  • You're welcome.

  • Haha! This song brings back such great memories. I bought this album around 1980-81 in Asbury Park, NJ.

I picked it out of the bargain bin at a record fair because I loved the cover; the photography reminded me of Van Halen 1. What a great find!

Y&T played with Ozzy down in Asbury Park in 1983.

I still have this original album...'wish I had a record player!

Now I want to hear some Y&T!

  • Get yourself a USB turntable. On sale you can find one for around $80. That way you can listen to your album and convert and store it on your computer. Vinyl doesn't last forever.

  • Yesterday and Today (Y&T) - "25 Hours a Day" - Great tune from the debut album from this band.

  • Great song these guys really ROCK!

  • Use to party with these guys back in the day !! FFNN KICK ASS !!!! To much fun sometimes !!

  • Use to party with these guys back in the day !! FFNN KICK ASS !!!!

  • This is the first time for me before the name shortage. Like born again!

  • I styled my "FAST AS HELL" pedal playing from this guy..

  • RIP PHIL KENNMORE !! And as a friend of Mr Haze well yea He is the man !!

  • RE all the comments about Leo & his LIGHTNING FOOT - TRUE TRUE TRUE oh and TRUE!!!!! Believe what ya what - WE know the facts.... "We" meaning the peeps that freakin grew up with Yesterday & Today later Y&T! AND HE STILL HAS THAT FOOT DAG NABBIT! AND CAN STILL PLAY LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE.... HE HAS "IT" - PERIOD!

  • Amen!

  • @TarynBenn I used to see these guys every time they were at the Starwood when I was in high school. My band played play this song, Come on Over, and Road (from Struck Down) at every backyard party we played at. They were so damn great.

  • Rickyon - Rickey Chang? cuz the pics used here that don't have Bill Hale on em are MINE! Love it! The one of Leo sitting @ the kit kinda looking towards the left w/ a beard if you can call it that - was from 10/31/82 Concord Pavilion - when Y&T would close out the season - I was in the pit w/Randy Bachman. had to cross the stage to get there - LEO pushes me thru the damn curtain - GOT SOME KILLA SHOTS! a couple promo shots & the "blue" Haze pic isn't mine but all the other I took. HELL YES!

  • So which pics are yours? The ones where Haze is playing the blue kit?

  • @rickyon - Yes... where it looks like he has "dirt" on his chin - HA, trying to grow a beard... never worked.. 10/31/82 Concord Pavilion. The one w/Leo in a "Pebbles/Bam Bam" fancy leopard print shirt, the one w/Joey alone in red/black striped pants (Concord show) & the 1 w/ the whole band on stage - guitars/bass necks all going every which way - Keystone Palo Alto... so far about 160 Y&T pics on FB, about 100 of Leo in seperate album & have TONS yet to scan. have known Leo going on 37 yrs!

  • Awesome pics. I wish I knew about your Facebook page back when I did these vids. I would have used more. Let me know your name so I can look you up on Facebook.

  • @TarynBenn those pics you took are awesome. that one of the guitars spiking out is freaking amazing! perfectly timed with even haze.

  • Leonard always used a single pedal,Ludwig speedking ...he's a great drummer

  • @flatheadtony according to the music store the band dealt with and a friend of LH it was the ludwig 'ghost' pedal.

  • this is the sickest lead playing ever. i slept with this album. from 2:11 on is so fricken sick. dave was wicked. 2:58

  • they used to play at my high school (for free)before the release of this album...probabley because Leonard Haze was at the same High School

  • you say you're surprised he used a single bass yet in some of/most of the pictures you put on the video you can clearly see he's using 2 bass drums. I'm a drummer too and sure it's possible he did it single bass but in a time period you say it is it's highly possible he even used a double bass pedal. Anywho check out between the buried and me. Greatest band ever. Check out their queen - bicycle cover if you don't believe it.

  • All the pictures that you see with 2 bass drums are from when Leonard Haze was not with the band. He has always been a single bass player and has to my knowledge never used what we used to call "cheater" pedals (when they first came out). If you don't believe the thousands who have seen it with their own eyes (myself included) then there is no point in continuing the discussion. I'm a drummer also and I believe that even Simon Phillips would say DAAAAAMMMMNNNNN!!!!

  • @embracetheend1332 I was @ Y&T - Black tiger Live Pink Pop Festival "83 .

I stood in between Dave & the right P.A, pillar; & will vouch for the single bassdrumpedal-for during the soundcheck his roadie did some fab kicks with it

  • @embracetheend1332 With all do respect, you are ignorant of what you are writing about. Leonard Haze is know for his lightning foot, and anybody with any knowledge of Mr Haze, would know that he has never used double bass drums, or pedals.

  • smoked

  • smoked

  • tripod57 i saw these guys back in 1975 or 76 at the santamonica civic auditorium when they opened for this new band they only played this one show here on the west coast lets see what was theyer name oh ya it was boston lol y & t rockd bought theyer album the next day and i was hooked its cool to have seen this band so long ago still servin it up today

  • Awesome Alves rhythm guitar and the Leonard Haze kick drum fills are otherworldly.

  • Being a drummer I too was always amazed at Leo's bass work. Whenever they would play at the clubs I would get along side of the stage so I could watch his bass work. Truely underated drummer.

  • It's hard to believe that Leonard Hayas is only using a single base pedal i saw them in 1975 i was blown away and still am today

  • How do you think he got the nickname "Thunderfoot"? I'm a drummer and it boggles my mind what he did on a single pedal!!!

  • Yeah , I think it's obvious that Leonard was a big Bonham fan. Awesome single bass drum chops. We dug these guys tunes in South Texas !!

  • I love it! Thanks for posting!

  • You're welcome Gina.

  • Many Thanks from Florida!

  • Music to kid coulson's friggin ears!!
