Cant tell you exactly there are no clues from the background but it is from the most recent naruto episodes. If you only watch the American Dubed versions(translated to english) then you are about ...150 episodes away from the new ones, though not many people are if you are really a naruto fan.

well if you are still on the american dubbed episodes, then you are at, im guessing because they never tell you, that its about episode 110 120, so search naruto episodes around there for the new ones, they will be subbed of course so you will have to read, but its still worth it. Once you get to about episode 200 the second "season" starts you can search naruto shippuuden 1, the shippuuden episodes go till about episode 46, new episodes come out every thursday if datebayo hasnt stopped subbing

actualy naruto invented the first nuclear bomb. You might have already seen it but in ..i think episode 44 or 45 of the shippuuden series he compresses a huge amount of the kyuubi's chakra that mixed with his blood, He swallowed that and spit it out at Orochimaru....Damn what a boom that made.
