  • from a british person..that was a really good accent

  • VA ?

    is that for VAmpire =?

  • @HeartAnimeManga YA. As in 'Young Adult' =)

  • @MaxieMagyx outsch. sorry ^^ i love your vids. between ;)

  • I love your take on this topic! On point, I agree 100%! I really enjoy when things are awkward and the biggest deal in a YA book is so common and simple, like I plucked my eyebrows wrong or something hahaha IDK, teens NEED to discover and have insecurities and mess up and have many flaws.Twlight-like "books" are just annoying!!

  • I love your accent. <3

  • Oh my I agree so much with you! I remember the cute books that I read when I was 13/14/15 that were like you said a girl wishing to be noticed or for a kiss . And you could relate to the awkwardness and emotions of the leading role. Nowadays the teen girl is like Necrophilia? or Bestiality? Decisions, Decisions! lol

  • I'm new too and you are excellent. I am definitely not a teenager and I am impressed with your maturity! very refreshing!

  • LOL you made me laugh out loud while watching this video. Do more of them! BTW, i'm a new subscriber to your channel thats why I'm so late on commenting. Lol the last person to comment on this video commented 3 months ago... oh well !!!

  • uh....so many YA books out there now....especially the paranormal that they're all starting to blue together now....harder and harder to find original plots...

    Loving the reviews x

  • where r u from? you have an interesting voice...

  • @yayforlove16 Jämtland/Sweden/Scandinavia/Europe/Earth/The Solar System 8'D

  • @MaxieMagyx haha me too :)

  • THE BEST VIDEO EVER

  • Lol, very fun video. I agree completely with you.

  • You are really funny! I dig you lol!

  • I think the reason for teenagers to act like that with love, is because their brain isn't fully developed. The part in the brain where we can see what our actions will do to us in the future. Teenagers are very "in the moment" and getting satisfaction now. It's not really a bad thing all the time. But it can get you in some weird situations. Including the forever-love-part. Look at all the teen-pregnancies. How many thinks they'll marry each other? Quite a few. And they don't.

  • The way you say "Bella Swan" is so funny :D I don't get why many people think S. Meyer is a role model. She's not. She portrays Bella very yucki. Nobody should want to be like her. You are right about the co-dependent thing. When she threw all away because of him, her education and her growing bond with her dad. THAT pissed me off! I grew to love Charlie a lot, and she just wants to be with Edward only. Screw everything else.

  • @missburn Yes. All of this. She kind of ruins her own story. People keep complaining about the writing, but the only thing I can really complain about is Bella! She's horrible.

  • @MaxieMagyx Yeah!

  • LOLS. ' Love is in the air. It's heavy. I can't breathe.' BAHA XD

  • Omygosh, your English accent is adorable <3

  • Kaisaa!! The quality is really good in this video. Also, I love how you say 'arse' XD <3 You are gorgeous. DFTBA. :]

  • Or well, it is a bit a 'love-story', i can't really explain it, you just need to read it!

  • You should read "Thirteen reasons why." by Jay Aher

This book is not a love story, but there is love in this book, realistic love. Like you said you wanted. I would totally recommend this book for you if you would like to read a book that is a bit more "teenager-y" .. haha.

It's really good, you should check it out!

  • @MaxieMagyx´

    Oh, i see xD

And i totally agree, she really did become really pathetic through out the books.

  • Don't get me wrong, but didn't you just say in you're book review on Wereadbooks of A season of eden, that you loved the chemistry betweenn Edward and Bella?

Don't get me wrong, i totally agree with you, i'm just confused :)

  • @ElenaGilbertAndDamon Clarification for you: Sure I did. I loved the scenes when they went hiking, and when they talked about each other. I just didn't like the fact that she threw away her life and became completely co-dependant and pathetic. Sometimes you have great chemistry, but that doesn't mean you should go and be a vampire.... d'you know what I mean? x'DD

  • I agree with you. But people fantasize about finding "the one" at a young age and being with them forever and forever, and thus there you have it in YA fiction.

  • i TOTALLY AGREE, i could spent hours upon hours ranting about this, but seeing as i have better things to do with my time, i don't.

  • LOL i loved the Bella Swan part :) and i totally agree with every point made ;)

  • xDDDD Thank YOU! ♥

"Love is in the air!~ And it's way too heavy. I can't breathe." xDD

  • I really liked your video! Bella is not mature at all BUT true love can exist even if you´re young, I met my boyfriend when i was 17, now i am 20 and we are still together even through life threatning diseases and so many obsticals and it has really been a rollercoster of tradgedies and fear but also so much happiness and love. So real love can exist at young age :) but i do get what you´re saying, and agree when it comes to ya fiction.

  • you're very cute, but with your english accent you're even cuter :)

  • Haha love this video! Oh gawd...Bella Swan...haha.

    -Farrah

  • One of my all-time favorite YA pairings is Ron and Hermione, because their relationship is adorable, but it's REAL! They fight, they disagree, they teach each other things, they make each other laugh -- they have lives outside of each other. They develop real feelings for each other through years of friendship first, getting to know each other inside out, and bonding together through good and bad times. In the end, they're just home to each other... that's real love! <3

  • @11Juliet I agree with all of this. It's a really sweet couple. We saw them grow up together, fight evil together, slowly but surely fall in love.. That's how it should be =)

  • yeah romance needs a bit of a change in YA. Maybe something more memorable... a heartwrenching twist XD

You do sound rather British. Actually I've noticed it in your newer videos o.o practicing your accents are you? or got the wrong one of your tongue?

This might be a strange time to mention this but you look a lot like Anya from degrassi.

  • @memostarzxD Haha x'D No!!! really?? I've just been watching too much Doctor Who lately. When I watch the Matrix I feel like fighting people, when I watch Pirates of the Caribbean I walk like a drunkard and slurr my words... When I watch Doctor Who or Misfits I ... I dunno. This sort of mixed british/something accent slips out.

I've never watched Degrassi. But I'm sure you're right. =p

  • #1 Your british accent is hot. lol.

#2 You are right. As we grow older as teenagers we lose interest in things quickly.

#3 You'll find the "one" one day. All in good time though! Enjoy being young.

  • loved this video! I recorded a video like this two days ago and i just posted it today :D

  • Oh good, another video from you!

Your always entertaining. Liked the English accent.

  • That was so true and so CUTE...Luv the other side of u British accent...tah..tah...

  • This video was great! Great quality and awesome lighting! :)

  • @diaryofabooknerd Thank you =) Now that winter is passing, I can finally get some natural light in my room! lol. But yeah, thanks, I appreciate it ^-^

  • I've had the same boyfriend for 3 years, (i'm almost 20..ah, OLD!) BUT we were best friends for the longest time and dating is just kinda natural, but we aren't all like "TO THE END OF ETERNITY BABE!!" I would love to read a YA book where two people like each other and it's awkward and maybe they kiss but it sucks, and maybe when they old hands their palms sweat, that's romantic to me because it's more real than Edward with his hard abs and golden hair!

    -Rae

  • @winkyblinky1 I love this comment. This sums up everything in my head on this subject. <3

  • I was laughing so hard because i remembered my bf when i was 16 and well i sweared my best friend i would not leave him until death do us apart!

When i read YA Fiction I really try forget about the age, because otherwise it's gross (16 and 700? uhh...)

But i have to admit the 16 year olds are mostly naiv and stupid; BUT the guys are freaking nuts about them... I dont know if i was a 700y.o. ultra hot guy i would have 3 things beer, food and many mature women xD

But i dont read to be realistic <3

  • @Seyclee HAHAHA x'D This! I totally get what you mean. "Yeah, he's old... but he doesn't LOOK old! Shut up! Shut up!"

Sometimes I like to read realistic fiction, because it makes me appreciate the world I live in a bit more =)

  • Yes I do think it's like come most guys don't hit maturing till they're 20 and girls are so fickle when there teenagers. Good Wimbledon accent :).

  • @irma2000 Haha x'D Thanks I guess. Don't know where it came from, really.

  • I dig your British self (pun intended).

  • @gtaly x'D I dig that you dig my different "selves". Thank you.

  • I agree with you, the thing that bugs me the most is that the girl always falls in love with the hot guy...so, normal guys can't get girls? That helps my self esteem a lot! XD

  • @Dmfriend26 x'DD Yes. That is not only a problem in books, but in all of popular media, eh? But Dyllie, I totally think of you as a hottie~

  • @MaxieMagyx Aww, thanks! x3

  • Very good points, your accent made my day xD x

  • @Books4Life1996 Haha, thank you thank you =P

  • I strongly think so. Twilight made everyone crazy,it was a plague (sort of?!)

  • yes, so true. =)

  • Awesome video!!! You brought up some amazingly valid points!! And I must say, I noticed that you turned british for a bit lol

  • @FwahStorm Just a little bit. x'D.... For no apparent reason... other than I might have watched a bit too much Doctor Who.

  • Ahahaha, that was funny! <3 I agree with you, especially on the Bella Swan part. But (seriously) who would ever want to be like her? Na-uh, no.

Do you believe in marriage then? I don't really.. I want a Cinderella dress, all fluffy you know, and a CAKE! But I have never wanted to get married. The divorce rate is ridiculously high. I know how I react to a broken relationship, so if I ever got married.. :O No thanks. But things change, so you never know.

Okay, I think I was on a roll. Sorry :D

  • @missburn Haha. No one, I agree. But it's not just Bella Swan. There are too many YA teens that take themselves and their emotions too seriously =P And apparently they all live happily ever after? I don't believe that x'D

I don't believe in marriage, no. Not really. I don't see myself getting married, at least. =P I'm like you. It costs too much to mean anything.

  • @MaxieMagyx I haven't read THAT many YA books yet, but I'm on it. But I don't doubt that you're right. ;)

  • LOL, compeletely agree. And it is really bad for all the girls that read them and believe them and they think that their boyfriend is the centre of the world... Bella is a really bad role-model honestly.... (But i still love Twilight :D)

  • @Eirinakib13 I have the same problem you seem to have =P I was obsessed with Twilight when it came out.. love it. But I still can't help but hate the content x'D Anyway, Twilight is just one of many examples. There are tons of YA books with unbelievable and almost silly love stories.

  • @MaxieMagyx Yeah, I notice it to many books But Twilight is kind of the first that pops in my mind :)

  • thank you so much for bashing twilight. its like weight lifted off my very small shoulders. and yes, i have the same love/hate relationship with ya.

  • @brattette Yes, well, it's not very hard, is it? It's like kicking someone who's unconcious. It's not especially difficult, and it doesn't really give you any satisfaction. =P But Twilight is just one example of many YA books that twist teenaged love into something it's not. Something way too deep and heavy x'D

  • @MaxieMagyx Have you read the Gemma Doyle series by Libba Bray? One of the things I love about the books is that Gemma is finally a young female protagonist worth admiring. I mean, really, I thought "thank god for Libba Bray. At least there's someone who knows what girls are capable of." If you haven't - I urge you to read it. Its like breathing in fresh air.

  • @brattette I have the book, but I still haven't read the whole thing. People keep telling me it's amazing, but somehow I can't convince myself it is. x'D Gives me hope when you say that the protagonist is fabulously capable, though.

  • I give so much love to this video. And plus: British accent + Kaisa = Bitchin good vid

  • @TheLitkid Bitchin'! That is most excellent, Cyd. 8'D Thanks! And also: thanks for starting the discussion~

  • Yeah...comitting to someone forever sounds almost teenage like...I mean go on facebook and every 14 and 15 year old girl with a boyfriend has them listed as HUSBAND..and have their status as MARRIED...yeah..whatever. I take issue with that being a married man...and having had to go throught he tiral and tribulations of actually being married...it's alot more than seeing who hangs up first..you know? LMAO! Great English accent BTW...had to go jog back and see if I heard what I heard! LOL!

  • @mrcinemajunky Haha x'D Yes, I think I've been watching too much Doctor Who. =P Oh, I agree. I don't even want to think about marriage, and these girls are jumping at the chance to be chained up for the rest of time. How am I supposed to sympathise with that???

M'yes, teenagers have a habit of declaring themselves all-knowing adults before they're 15 =p Probably because everything, although short-lasting, is very intense. Emotions x 1000

  • @MaxieMagyx You are wise and mature beyond your years.....I see a 100 year old vampire in your future..LOL!

  • @mrcinemajunky Haha, I wouldn't say no to that! I wouldn't say "I love you" either though x'D

  • @MaxieMagyx LMAO..you're so cool! No..you'd say "I really dig you.."

  • Ahhhh Kaisaaaa!

    I love this video!

It took me a year and a half to tell my exboyfriend that I loved him. and we were together for two years... It only took Bella about a handful of paragraphs to fall in love with Edward.

    Bazinga. x]

  • @LeanneJaseyRae Haha x'D Yes, it's a disease running through the YA system! ... Not only YA.. it's all over the place! People keep throwing these words around like it's as common as bread. But if it is, then why should we care?

    Thank you!!

  • You really made me laugh :D You're so absolutely cute talking about twilight *_*

  • @Kixshani x'D Thanks. Really, it's just one example of many. But... maybe Twilight started the craze? Sounds reasonable.
