He said in the vid this was a "rebuilt motor with 28 miles on it," in a situation such as this, rolling back the odometer to match the miles on the rebuild should be perfectly fine, especially if you keep all shop receipts to verify the rebuilt motor is legit. The law can suck shit if they disagree

Federal law can suck shit if they disagree
Most states follow the Federal odometer law that a car over 10 years is exempt or just mark the title as Not Actual Mileage or Unknown miles. Its a Neon that went over 215k miles whoever owned it must be a great mechanic.
@shadowgames824 then youll be laughing when the owner takes it for a smog and test fails for wrong milliage and the new owner snitches on you. its a federal crime.
haha. buy a real "power screwdriver!!" my grandmother has one of them old shits on her wall. and honestly. i wouldnt buy a neon no mater what the miles. ur wasting internet space!
faster way to sell a car and more cash in the pocket. This is what you call good business.

Even though theres a new engine this practice is not legal. Its only cool if you buy a new cluster that has more miles.

What if i change the odometer to one with 50k miles and i have 130k will it go to 50? and is this only for a neon or for all old school odometers?
