his vibrato isnt great but 4 8 hes great. i play flute im thirteen. one tip play vibrato using ur stomach it helps!

Vibrato is defined as throat and mouth pulses, not using the diaphragm.

he's doing an okay job. I just think that he should practice more on his tone quality and pitchness first before using vibrato. Btw, this is in 2008. Im sure he's more experienced now. Will be looking forward to seeing him grow into an awesome flautist.

According to Gerald Carey, most vibrato comes from the throat. In actuality, you cannot control your diaphragm, no matter what anyone tells you. What you mostly use for vibrato besides your throat is your abdomen, not your diaphragm.
