  • Americans/ (? Canadians too) pronounce Caramel "Carmel".

    Caramelise = Carmalise.

    It's like Aluminium. You have to appreciate they think their pronunciation is normal and 'sounds right'. Just like we do about our pronunciation.

    Calling him and idiot for this, well that reflects more on the previous commentators own ignorance.
