  • Afghanistan used to be Persia, and has passed ownership through various empires, each giving new flavors and cultural additions

  • afghan culture is very similar to arabic culture, I guess the arabs conquered afghanistan and gave them thier food and music...

  • Other way around.

  • @subroto81 what? afghan culture is persian. is totaly different to arabian culture. we havent nothing in common.

  • wooww nice .

..really thanks for the adding of this Video..

  • very nice

  • Beautiful music. and the guy plays so well. I thought Rehab was a place where people went to get better if they were sick.

  • Sorry - made a mistake. It is a rebab not a rehab. Anyway could listen to this for long time. Brilliant stuff.

  • Go Heratis....

  • This is really very good. I greatly enjoyed it. Thank you.

  • It puts a smile to my face, seeing them enjoy and appreciate the music like this..

    God bless.. and wonderfuly played..

    Aafareen..

  • Subhanallah, what a brilliant sound.

This is unrecognized talent. An amazing Rebab player but no one to give him a chance to go out there and show the world his skill.

  • I thought rebab was played like a violin?

  • wah wah!! love the rebab!

  • salam

esm e in agha ke rebab mizaneh chist va kist? aya mitavanad biyad iran baraye kar? beman javab bedahid lotfan. merci

  • Why dont you go fuck yourself?

  • Do you live in Herat? I was wondering if I could ask you a question. Have you heard or seen anything about an oil and gas pipeline being built through Turkmenistan, across western Afghanistan, and down Pakistan, out into the Arabian Sea just north of India? I am researching the reasons for invading Afghanistan. Thanks for any info you can provide.

  • look up a company called RedStar... based in london... its amazing that they've been able to cover this up.

  • Thanks TomBoy1828, but could you be a little more specific? I tried to look but all I could find is a bar giude or perhaps a bar in London with that name. Any help would be appreciated. I was hoping that someone that lived there could report that they have seen it with their own eyes. I heard it(pipelinee) was going through or near Herat.

The more I dig, the more disgusted I am with this "war on terror". Last time I checked, "terror" was a tactic-not a foe.

  • @agat0r "Taliban" by Ahmed Rashid. Read it.

  • Would anybody be interested in buying Rubab Lesson DVDs? I just want opinions. A friend is producing them right now and they will be out soon!! There is going to be 4 DVDs, Level 1,2, and 3, and a Practice DVD. Right now, he said the each DVD will be around $80.00!!! I just want opinions for this idea. Thank You.

  • 80.00$ for one DVD is really steep, I could see spending that much for the 4 of them, but when you consider that the average "private" music lesson clocks in at about 20$ per lesson, and video instruction is seen as inferior to in-person, you might want to consider coming down on the price.

  • Mashallah!!!!

  • Great Folklore Music on Rubab!

  • niceeeee

  • Nazar nasha! Very nice. Zebaghali is very nice!!!!

  • I don't want to disappoint you, we are all afghans, but this is not pashtun music...but nevertheless it sounds great doensn't it???

  • @heratchef to kill the arts such as music, crafts, dance, poetry also kills the Spirit..don't let dictators in the guise of religious leadership tell u otherwise! The Taliban must be stopped & Afghans should have the right to express themselves thru the arts for aesthetic uplifting...thanks!!

  • @heratchef This is typical herati music. Pashtuns are always trying to steal tajik culture, history and heritage.

Herat zinde bad! Proud to be herati!

  • thats kool. I enjoy watching such a traditional pushto music on youtube! keep it up guys
