  • @caioenzo lol I dont know if your joking or not but they don't. Also that guy u asked could not spell Australia for shit. Astrellia?

  • "Sonic the Hedgehog" was the ultimate video game in 1993? No, it was 1991. What about "Sonic the Hedgehog 2"?

  • Didn't Sonic the hedgehog 1 come out in 1991 in Australia and Sonic 2 Came out in 1992 in Australia as well? Because i have a friend who's oldest brother got a Sega Megadrive for his birthday in 1991 with Sonic 1 and he got Sonic 2 the following year.

  • @kiltsonfire164

    Thats right

  • Did they have the guy screaming "SEGA!!!" in Australia?

  • @MattJFisher

No, but apparently they did have Raiden from Mortal Kombat yelling "SEEEEGAAAAAAAAAAAA!" at the end of one commercial.

  • @KHsonicdude23 I know. I saw the guy pronounce it like "SEEGA" instead of "SEH-GAH". SEGA!!!

  • @MattJFisher

If I'd lived in Australia instead of UK, I'd pronounce SEH-GAH as SEEGA.

  • @antideborah After hearing it pronounced that way, I can't help but hear the pronunciation in the SEGA screen prior to playing Sonic 1 and 2 0_o

  • @MattJFisher

That's just the Australian accent. I know, cause I was born in Australia.

  • @antideborah

ha i grew up in astrellia

  • @16skylarks do they teach AC/DC in the history classes? I have always wondered that.

  • @caioenzo

u know im not sure i was actualy a todler

  • Does it come with a boomerang and a 12 pack of Fosters?

  • @FuccThatShitNigga roflmfao!!!!!!!!

  • @FuccThatShitNigga Im Australian, never seen a boomerang and whatever is stereotypically Australian (okay, kangaroos, Teeth on hats, Koalas etc, some bad accents and lots of "aw, MATE")

  • lol @ the end...Columns hahahaha

  • Graphics! Gameplay!

Yeah I kinda want my games to have those, thanks.

  • How much did MegaDrive games cost back then?

  • @MattTheSaiyan $40 to 100 dollars. The only game that cost 100 american dollars was Virtua Racing, a 3D game.

  • the good ones, around 100 bucks.@MattTheSaiyan

  • Is this offer still valid?

  • a dildo ate my baybee!!

  • mean! when does this console come out?

  • I compared a commercial like this to another of sega's, i dont see a difference

  • I Prefer mega drive 2

  • Graphics! Gameplay! Marshmellows!

  • Fuckin Exploding Logo is Awesome!!!

  • CRICKEY !!!!

  • lol, I think my parents got this deal, because the only game we had for a while was sonic, altered beast and columns.

  • t0d51 U need to Shut the Hell up. Its OK if want older console its there opinion! get out other ppl's business. Stop being a jackass, jackass

  • Well is simply must have one, it looks delightful. Better than any PlaySation 3 that might be offered my way. Do they come with $150 worth of free games? I think not. (What's $150? Is it like £1.50?)

  • games are like $75 bucks, so thats $150 for 2 games

  • Sonic The Hedgehog- The Ultimate Video Game? They will regret saying that when Sonic 2 comes out XD

  • Mega Action! Mega Value! Mega Drive Super Sonic Offer! The Mega Deal of the century, from Sega!

  • I saw a boxed one of the these with the game value sticker on it in a funky furniture store yesterday for around $130, it made my day.

  • He had not at the time...

The Mega Drive and SNES for me were the peak of console gaming...

Nowadays, the PCs have all genres covered....

Back then, consoles were kickarse for sport, fighting, and RPGs.

  • speed, action, graphics, gameplay. omg omg omg i want one right now, all the other consoles have one or maybe two of those things, i wonder if it uses blast processing aswell???

  • That quite possibly the most exciting 30 seconds ever.

  • Now that's the mega deal of the century!

  • What happened to the sound??
