it's not about the rubber. wh switched to skyline 3 #21 type blue sponge. he still beating ppl like before. if u've ever used skyline 3 #21, control is nice, spin is great close up but lacks power compared to hurricane or tenergy. it's perfect for light touch but slow for mid to long distance

@rosun82 No. He has a natural tendency to return shots in a less aggressive manner, especially in the backhand. That's why he always ends up playing lob rallies. The Chinese with their excessive aggression just out-pace Mizutani and his lobbing defenses become just target practice.

A lot of problems are simply technical problems...Wang Hao's control is better so Mizutani cannot top spin first. Also, the first top spin from Mizutani following the backspin is not powerful enough.
