This goal is embarrassing, why would you want this as your first(and no doubt only)senior England goal??? Stolen with all but 3mm of the ball already over the line! Some may be thinking "I'd have done the same thing" yes well you'd be a goal snatching waste of space too! By all means make sure its in the net but to point at your chest & claim it as your own lacks Class. Now in an ironic twist of fate Defoe is at Pompey showing Nugent how it's supposed to be done! Thankyou RichySKing. Least someone's sensible enough to see it for how it is. The smug expression and interview makes it even worse. When he points at himself after the goal, I I would've done as Wrighty1892 suggested and slapped him silly. I know what you mean about predatory instincts, but you can't apply that here, as the ball was in no danger of being stopped or cleared. It was just Nugent being a complete prick. Almost as bad as Dida.....ok no he's not that bad.
