First, the physuics in this game isn't designed to be realistic. That wouldn't be fun. With that in mind. it is most likely the bumpers continously propelling you in a given direction. Sort of how springs can be used to attain high speeds when applied correctly. Also, I like it.

standard seat on top of standard wheel with 4 cubes on each side of the seat. Attatch a bumper to the bottom of these and two small fuel tanks and two small engines to the top. you should get the same effect. If not, add me @ Shadowyasha25 and I'll give you the blueprints.

I had that with a vehicle which had two wheels on each side, so it would always be on four wheels no matter how it was flipped. It did something similar.
