  • The way this video is made, I believe, is that the figurine is 'rotating' one way in every odd frame (eg 1,3,5,7 etc) while it is rotating in the other in every even frame (eg 2,4,6,8 etc).

The mind is making some presumptions as well. This is a two dimensional object in two dimensional space which means it can not rotate at all. Nothing can rotate in 2D space. But the mind is 'presuming' something different. It is an optical illusion.

  • only moving 180 deg.

  • clockwise

  • I GOT IT I GOT IT IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PROUD OF MYSELF OK IMAGE THAT HER FOOT IS GOING BEHIND THE LEG THAT'S FLOATING NOT IN FRONT!!!!!!! YAAAA WOOT IVE BEEN STARING AT A NAKED CHICK FLOAT 4 LIKE 30 MINUTES : D

  • free 0:00 button for those like me who dont understand wtheck is going on

  • LMAO...Ahhh good one...I know the stunt that you have here...lol!

  • actually, she is spinning both ways in the same time. If you stare at the upper part she spins counter clockwise, if you stare the legs she spins clockwise.

After all, it depends on which part you stare at first, nothing to do with logic nor creativeness.

You should try to isolate first the upper (by reducing the window) and then the legs. you will directly understand the illusion. Some people stare at the boobs and some other at the legs. That s all.

  • @parisfr12 not true and also not possible m8 she is only going clockwise concentrate a little harder the way her body is bent is what confuses u.. as u pan up and down her body from tits 2 ass the spinning and her lean causes your brain to think theres a twist but u r dumb and wrong.. there is no way this is anti clockwise shes dragging her right foot therfor shes clockwise at all times u fukin idiots all piss me off fukin americans

  • what does it mean when you can see both?

  • @marissac95 that you use both brain sides.

  • I keep staring at her boobs and booty...did you guys get that effect too?

  • This is so cool, im making her bounce back and fourth xP

  • I can make her change the way she moves at every location. I just concentrate on the leg that's moving, and as it's crossing over the other leg, I concentrate really hard on making it move the other direction, and by the time she reaches the outer most point of her spin, I see it going back in the opposite direction.

  • Umm... this is stupid. Everyone sees it clockwise. That's the way it is moving... DUH!

  • @randomaccountilove no. It is an optical illusion. Some see it clockwise, others counterclockwise and still others can see her go both directions. That is a fact and the purpose of the illusion in the first place. Try to make her go counterclockwise. Focus on the foot spinning. Try to imagine her spinning in the opposite direction. Can you do it?

  • clockwise

  • WOAH...

  • idk i can make it change. but most of the time like 80% its clockwise

  • @metallica1648 me too .. watch it and say your abc's backwards.. itll switch to counter clockwise..

  • i am baffled. i could not to save my life see her turning counterclockwise. i have tried so hard.

  • When I am normally looking at it, she is turning clockwise. But when I am counting or thinking about a math problem, she starts to turn counter clockwise. So weird.

  • shes traveling clockwise. Im right brained.

  • i dont get it

  • i dont get it!

  • the right feels more comfortable for me

  • how could it be... i use right hand for everything.. im good at math and all other sciences... how could i see this girl is swirlling clockwise....

  • Remeber the left part of the brain controls the right side of ur body

  • This is awesome. Can make her swing both ways. lol

  • lucky you....for me it.s turning left almost all the time...once i saw it turning right but now its left again and again

  • the trick is because this is a 2d image, its not really actually spinning anti or clockwise...if you imagine the supporting leg to be the left leg it spins clockwise for you, if you imagine it as the right leg it spins anti

  • if you pause it at 0:03, you can see that it's obviously her right leg that's being put out

  • No, it can be either way. It can also be her left leg putting out. Just imagine the standing leg is the right leg and you get what i mean.

  • hey i think u got the concept wrong by saying which leg is the supporting one, actualli the supporting leg is the one that is the lower one...And i kinda figure out that the figure is spinning both ways
