@Aspoor101 no, it's not coming out because the production company they were working with didn't want to cast an Asian lead, so the project was basically just dropped because Wong Fu didn't like that they flat out said they didn't want an Asian lead.

In most American movies, you'll see an Asian, a black person, a Latino... but a lot of the time it seems like the lead characters are white and they just throw minorities in so they don't get sued for being racist :p Hollywood thinks that the American public doesn't want to see an Asian lead because they won't be able to identify with them, so Asians here tend to get cast mainly for martial arts roles (or minor roles in non-martial arts movies)...

I relate to the character cause I work weekends and night then go to the school during the day. I feel the isolation that he feels too. Also then he 2nd guesses what he could find out with the helmet. It's great. The fact you don't relate is your problem Cause plenty of people with this isolation situation.

I do believe WongFu has abandoned it and won't be producing it because they got into an argument with Matrix over the fact that Matrix refused to cast an Asian male in the lead role.
