this is a standard recipe, i like to make canna peanut butter from scratch then make peanut butter fudge over the stove. well worth the few hours of preperation for 20 minutes of awesomeness,follwed by hours of couch locked action.

I could use a little help. I usually use olive oil and just make brownies from that, it works great and gets me flyin. I tried making cannabutter yesterday and it didnt turn out as green as the guides i used showed them. i used 1 and 1/2 sticks of land o lakes unsalted butter with about 14 grams of very potent herb. I made the cookies today, havent tried yet, but i will after work. does the green color in the butter indicate its potency, or is it more of just cookin the color in?

@chr1styl30816 actually the butter that I used is the best for edibles besides a high priced ghee. i later found out that green butter doesnt mean its potent. it only means a lot of the plant material fused to it making it green. the cookies turned out great.

i would imagine leaving it sit for a long period of time would lead to deterioration of the thc but i dont think that would begin before the food itself would turn.. so how long? it would matter the temperature left at.. but say you kept them in a plastic baggie or container in a cool dry place it would last week at least... i had one left about 3 weeks after i made them just sitting in a baggie and my friend ate it with no complaints... lol

im not positive but from everything ive heard i would not microwave cannabis ever.. put it near heat vent or in the sun to help otherwise just let it sit for a bit itll loosen up quickly at room temp
