This is so incredibly sweet! I have a cat and I'm seriously considering an Airedale now and was worried Airedales would attack cats. This puts my worries at rest. Thank you! *favourited*
Just be sure to introduce the Airedale to the cat as soon as possible. My 7 month Airedale gets too excited when he sees my parents' cats, he wants to play with them like they are dogs. He wont be able to be with the cats unsupervised until he is older and more mature.
My Airedale, Buster (who died this past September) also loved cats. He was so gentle of spirit, that most of the cats were not afraid of him. At the place I lived before, the cats (several of them, they all belonged to different neighbours, but hung around in the courtyard where everyone put their bikes) actually didn't even move when we walked by, they'd just sort of look at him, very blasé, and continue the sunbathing...What's the music, by the way? Really nice.
