  • I've seen that old analog signal skip all the way up to the Great Lakes region a few times. Channels 2-6 were known for that. Channels 7 and up are different.

  • WEDU3 Florida, United States Of America - Analog Shutoff At 11:55 PM (February 17, 2009 (Tuesday))

  • Ouch!

    Mid-sentence !?!

Not a dignified ending for a facility that had been seen by so many people in so many places.

  • @1L6E6VHF sorry for the year-late reply, but it's PBS, so I doubt they even cared.

  • Thanks for taping this! I live in Tampa and I have DirecTV!

  • @fromwkfsmouth as do I, but I recorded this OTA (and I didn't use a VHS).

  • They just cut it off mid-sentence? Nice that they had a station bug on the screen right up til the last nanosecond.

  • @eyeh8nbc sorry for the year-late reply, but it's PBS, so I doubt they even cared.

  • Thank you for upload that nice historical farewell !

WEDU is well known with it's behaviour on e-skip propagation even by European TV-DXers. :-)

    5* and greetings from Germany ! M.
