  • The warning light on my hardware (s2) keeps on flashing and the audio clicks. Any suggestions?

  • @brownboii420 I'd contact Native Instruments. From my own experience I can say that they have great support.

  • hey can anyone help me? my setup is traktor pro 2 with audio 4 djinterface my decks are numark ndx800, with behringer ddm4000 mixer. please ive been trying to hook this shit up for like 2 days and its frustrating me, i mix with cds but this computer shits got me going crazy:((( I need help

  • @knobbzy11 Most manufacturers that sell Traktor-compatible CD players have pdf guides on how to connect them and the particular settings you need to get it all working. You may be missing software drivers for the particular hardware components.

  • sorrry again. but just incase anyone know. I'm running a mac, mixtrack pro, traktor pro 2, and am using speaker connected to my computer. my problems are getting the right mixtrack pro mapping. i want everything normal. headphone monitoring wont work. and since im using all drumand bass it is cutting some songs in half like 83 bpms in stead of 175. how do i change them all to the real bpm. thanks!!! whoever answers this will litterally be my hero!!! this is stressing me out so very badly! thanks

  • @Austeenob You need to hook up your speakers to the mixtrack's output. Its not impossible to use both the soudncard in your mac, and the soudncard in the mixtrack, but it will make things much more difficult for you. In regards to the 2nd question, go watch our video on beatgrids. It covers setting the bpm correctly and all the different grid options that go along with it.

  • @thedjpodcast thankyouuuu!! but how is it done using computer speakers??

  • i have a mixtrack pro controller, i have traktor pro 2. i downloaded a MIXTRACK PRO tsi file. i am unable to hear music coming through my headphones or through my speakers. ive tried everything i don't understand...... thankss

  • @Austeenob As far as I am aware, a TSI file is only for MIDI mappings and has nothing to do with any other settings. Make sure your soundcard is set to the mixtrack and that you are set to internal mode in the output routing. Then set your speakers and headphones to the master and preview respectively.

  • @thedjpodcast i am going to try this right now.. thanks!!!

  • @thedjpodcast tryed everything. Audio Setup: Audio Device = Mixtrack Pro. . Output Routing = Internal. (now looking for the correct settings) and now Input Routing = Also looking for the correct settings. ** This is all for using the mixtrack pro through my computer speakers and also being able to listen to the tune through my headphones on CUE mode. Thanks!! once this is figured out i should be ready to go!!

  • @Austeenob First, don't worry about input routing. You don't need to mess with that at the moment. You need to find a way to get your speakers connected to the mixtrack pro. Then once you've set everything correctly in the output routing, the master channel will come out of your speakers and the deck you cue will come through your headphones. If you're still having trouble please check Numark's site to see if there is any info there. I don't have a mixtrack pro, so I can only give general advice

  • @thedjpodcast alright i tryyyed. i got it working with VDJ but not traktor. on vdj i have BUILT IN sound card on 1 and 2 out put and i have mixtrack sound card on 3 & 4. and it works through the speakers and headphones perfectly. i just need to find how to do that with traktor. because im using computer speakers and not studio speakers. works with vdj so why not traktor. i cant be the only one using computer speakers like this hhaha ]p bit confusingg

  • @Austeenob VDJ is made for consumers. TPro2 is made for professional use. Traktor is meant to be used with 1 soundcard. If you really want to use 2 soundcards with Traktor, it is possible. Look into using something like Soundflower.

  • how do I setup traktor for just using headphones via a soundcard and speakers connected to my computer?

  • @rarebeats77 Can you be more specific on how you want it set up?

  • @thedjpodcast basically I want to set up my usb sound card for my headphones and speakers, both connected to my computer, but don't know how set up audio in traktor pro for them, I can hear the sound through my speakers but not my headphones

  • @rarebeats77 If you have your headphones and speaker connected to your soundcard, do the following. Select your soundcard in the audio setup tab. Then go into your audio routing tab. Set it to internal mode. Set preview to the outputs corresponding to your headphones and master to the outputs corresponding to your speakers.

  • guys can i mix songs with this program just with my mouse and my keyboard?

  • @nickfilippakis Yes. You can mix with only a mouse and keyboard.

  • @thedjpodcast how??? i install this program but when it comes to audio setup i dont hear anythin-.- whats wrong?

  • @nickfilippakis Check whether you're in internal or external mixing mode. You probably want to be in internal mode.

  • @thedjpodcast thx i ll try that

  • i need help setting up my Pioneer DJM700, i dont get any signal on traktor, could you help me?

  • @mexvic77 I don't have the djm700, so it would be quite difficult for me to help you out on using that mixer specifically. Check to see if NI or Pioneer have specific instructions on how to setup Traktor with that mixer.

  • i set up everything and my cross fader wont work to swtich channels how can i make it work

  • @idjswag Crossfaders can be tricky to map. Different controllers seem to send different signals and different programs seem to map them differently. You have to make sure that you're mapping the correct midi signals to the right midi commands. Look to see if you can map different midi notes by moving the crossfader in different directions and positions to see if that works.

  • what does the "built in sound card" option on the audio tab does? I mean, when you press it you can choose the same things that you can choose in "soundcard" so pleaseeeee for what can I use this option!!? gretting from Mexico

  • @menssejer Built-in Soundcard is the audio output that your computer comes with. Most of the time it is only a single stereo output. It may give you the same options, but you wont be able to utilize mixing multiple decks externally by using the built in soundcard.

  • i've connected the audio 8 but it doesn't show in, audio device setting? help!!

  • Geek cunt what a bad voice

  • how do u set up multiple controllers

  • @bra1235 Click "add" and repeat the steps. You can then select which one you want to edit by using the "device" dropdown.

  • @thedjpodcast how about using them at the same time like a kontrol x1 n a mixtrack to controll 4 decks

  • @bra1235 Sure. You could do that. You would just have to map the controls to your liking. Check out the video review we did of Xtreme Mapping. It makes doing custom mappings a lot easier.
