Why can't we use human fetuses instead of mice? I don't need to be told that it's unethical, because I've yet to be shown any compelling evidence that it is. I just want to know if it would be more or less accurate, if possible at all :)

One fact is that mice R living beings capable of feeling pain just like us and that most of the testing done on them gets them ill and eventually kills them, causing them to suffer in the mean time. Not saying science should stop its fast advance, rather that we should look for alternative, cruelty-free ways to test.

I agree but I doubt it is possible, nothing is as good as using a whole organism...in vivo studies need to be completed eventually

what is happening to these mice is not as cruel as what happens to other animals that are used by humans in the food industries and other areas of science i.e. where do you get you meat from? how are those animals treated? do you care? the truth is that us humans are cruel; but unfortunately it is required for the survival of the huge numbers of humans that exist. at least there will hopefully be a positive outcome from the suffering of these organisms.
