This has to be from the summer of 1983 because the news item they mentioned about the rained out Diana Ross concert in NYC was in 1983 I remember it well. My mother and sister were there and I refused to go because the weather forecast was for rain. I stayed home and dry watching TV and laughing my ass off when the news came on and told us what happened.

Man.. I can't believe no one has clips of the old KGW quiz show "On The Spot" with Larry Blackmar. I remember not only the show but him covering Rose Festival events. I was in my early teens, and I walked right in front of the camera once or twice. Sorry Larry!

I ran into Bill Lagattuta around 1982. I was in the Safeway on Jeffferson in Portland (a few blocks from KGW). Bill and I were at the checkout stand. I dropped something. Bill said to me "You dropped something pal." True story.
