There's something so strange about TIm Burton's art. I usually recoil from gothic art work because it tends to be too bizaare and kind of ugly. But with TIm Burton there's a strange charm about his work. Mostly because it feels like somthing a child would have nightmares about.

Everything that Tim Burton does has always had a good "dark" feeling to it. I think Nightmare before Christmas was the movie that made me like the dark things in life, like Demons, Skeletons, Gargoyles and more.

I love Tim Burton so much, he says so exact of what I can relate too, such as not being able to communicate with people, being afraid of parents, feeling like an outcast!!! so relatable and creative.

I love Tim burton. I just read he's coming out with a box set with danny elfman celebrating their collaboration over the last 25 years. they haven't released too much info yet but you can sign up for the email list on their website

This man is pure genius! I love his work so much and am a HUGE fan. I've been drawing most my life and i draw dark, mysterious, creepy, and trippy stuff such as Burton. I just graduated ( at 16!! ) so i sent a letter and a bunch of my work to the Tim Burton Productions and im hoping to possibly get a job there. Fingers crossed! :D

"Visionary director." Don't make me laugh. I can't even name one film of Burton's that's worth seeing. His style of directing is to tell his lead actors to mimic someone who has facial tics.

Also, he's flamboyant and it shows in his filmmaking. How anyone would want to spend their hard-earned cash on this bozo's movies is beyond me.

I met him at a book signing at the MOMA exhibit. He was actually really nice. I'm surprised he accepted gifts (he signed my copy of The Art of Tim Burton).

@Burtonnut Sweet, I hope to meet him someday. I met Lisa Marie at London Film and Comic Con recently. She was quite nice in person but I was dissapointed how the staff wouldn't let me take a picture with her but I still got a decent autograph signed by her.
