I would say you lessons are not helpful for fresh starters.. but for sure who have just started to learn little bit in carnatic, would greatly helpful to practicing. Sharmaji, At 2:56, when you play the variety, does the "Thaa kita" span across multiple swaras?

Which raga is this? The G and N sounded slightly higher than Thodi, but definitely less than Mayamalavagowla. I was kinda confused. Please help.
