I agree with this brother but one of the things that came to mind was of those with eating disorders especially the binge eaters. I am wondering if really after the 5th day they wont be tired.

Our local Imam was saying in a class that there was this man who fasted the whole of ramadan BUT this is what he did. He would eat suhoor the night before, and he wouldn't put his food down until fajr! And then he would sleep throughout the whole day, missing all of his prayers! SubhanAllah! Then he would of course eat a feast at Iftaar. :o

@shaykha wow, I'm so sorry to hear about the Brother. Some people think if you just fast then their work is done and then there are those that maybe can't fast but still do their best in their ibadah for Allah swt. May that Brother be rightly guided.
