  • You can read the small text in the video and you can clearly see "Thomas Bangalter" to the left

  • we like ;) + + +

  • who is the one retard the dislikes this?

  • What happened to Da Mongoloids?

AVH: That was me, Junior Sanchez, Thomas Bangalter, everyone who was cool, Basement Jaxx, Roger Sanchez. We started an idea but we never ran with it.

That above is from a mixmag interview had with ducksauce with armand quoting the above...straight from the horse's mouth!

  • Thomas Bangalter es uno de los componentes de daft punk ?? o es otro

  • @ludovicmorales si es el q usa el casco plateado

  • wat record label is this

  • @TheKevingranillo Strictly Rhythm.

  • 18,000th view :]

  • da mongaloidz was just a crew of DJs, bangalter and sanchez being a part of that crew. that doesn't necessarily mean they all produced this together. hes just reppin his team i guess lol

  • ah 96 !

  • The lyrics sample the Common song I Used to Love H.E.R.

  • was the best in those years, really rocks

  • I didn't know thatvthere were a member of daft punk in that project

  • Yes yes yo, you don't stop, 1,2, yo, you don't stop...

    OMG, catchy much? hehe...

Thanks Alex for uploading so many good songs...

    :D

    Plus, this song is great...

ACAPELLA IN THE MIDDLE!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!

  • I might be wrong but the lyrics sound like "Common" but anyways the first time i heard this was in Bad Boy Bill's Bangin' The Box Vol. 2.

  • @Julian1686 that's the first time i heard this song too, good track!

  • LA BOMBE

  • are they reffering to smoking methamphetamine? lol

  • Those were the times....

    E!

  • Armand Van Helden, Junior Sanchez & Thomas Bangalter are the members of da mongoloids ... SNOLAN1990 if all those artists you say are in da mongoloids then it would probably be the harlem globetrotters of house ... thats if they all didnt argue while producing a tune

  • Thats the rapper 'Common' sampled

  • Yes!!

  • Da Mongoloïds rulez !!!!!

    Respect to Van Helden

  • awesome. I was looking for this for a long time

  • right, the sample is from Common - I Used To Love H.E.R.

  • the rapper on the vocals is common, not will smith

  • greaat song, got to love da old school house,

  • thx for uploading! (its only Armand btw)

I have it on the Greatest Hits album - blue one with an apple. Was the song I heard the most after Witch Doktor and Funk Phenomena at the early Armand days :)

  • this is funky.

  • just Van Helden no Bangalter or Sanchez

popular misconception that its all three

  • I read in discogs that it was by van helden, bangalter and sanchez

  • i have the record and there is no mention of bangalter or sanchez on it other than in the "Thank You" section on the record it says it is written and produced by A. Van Helden

    Discogs must be wrong

  • I don't get it then. Why would it be posted on discogs as such?

  • Because Da Mongoloids was the name that Sneak, Van Heldan, Daft Punk and both the Sanchezes used for themselves as a group of DJs

  • Only Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk ;-)

  • All Daft Punk

  • Sorry i pressed post comment to early, what i meant to say was

All Daft Punk are in Da Mongoloids as are Van Heldan, Basement Jaxx, Sneak, Pooley, Sanchez's, Laidback Luke, MAW, The Rhythm Masters and Todd Terry are Da Mongoloids according to damongoloids . fr

  • avh,dj sneak, rsanchez, jsanchez = damons

  • @alexdaftpunk91

Yeah; "Da Mongoloids" are in fact Helden, Bangalter & Sanchez, but this track was only written and produced by Helden...!

  • @snolan1990 It's not a misconception that you haven't got a clue what you're talking about, I think David Guetta could do with a few more fans, run off and buy some of his music little boy.

  • @MrScip1985 I don't understand what you have issue with here, all I have said (3 years ago) is that this particular record was produced by Van Helden and Van Helden alone. Da Mongoloids was also the name of a DJ collective that included Junior Sanchez, Daft Punk & DJ Sneak but this particular record was made entirely by Van Helden. You can even read it off of the scan of the record on this video "Produced & Mixed by Armand Van Helden"

  • @snolan1990 How does go fuck yourself sound?

  • YES YES Y'ALL

  • will smith song same name

he also says yes yes y'all you don't stop

    wonder which came first

  • both are good

  • I remember that sample or at least a "yes yes ya'll" track from waaaay long ago. Like 15 years ago long ago.

  • I don't think will smith has a song titled "Spark da Meth"

  • I remember the classic Fresh Prince track, Spark Da Meth It came out a long time ago before he really honed his "good guy" image. He also had another classic with DJ Jazzy Jeff entitled Heroin Assfuck. What an amazing artist he is! Get jiggy wit it 4 LIFE!!

  • lol

  • awesome! i love it
