I have two beautiful Maine Coons, one is 16 this year and the other will be 8. This video breaks my heart because I know the pain of losing one of these amazing family friends. I have three sons, and my boy washes their hair like this too. It's only those of us lucky enough to have had this breed as part of our lives, who know just how truly special they are. None of the Maine Coons I have owned have ever even scratched us and have given us nothing but years of love and pleasure.

My Ragdoll does this for about 20 seconds then starts love biting me, then love clawing me, then just attacks me. He's such a turd sometimes, but we love him.

We lost our Maine Coon 2 months ago because some moron came flying down the road and hit him, didn't even bother to look or slow down at all. I miss him so badly, he was such a sweet cat, he was outside with Dad and I the day before he died, while we were clearing some brush, and he would come and cuddle up to me and rub his head on mine when I took a break. His name was Congo, and he was a beautiful cat. I feel your pain :(
This is one of the most beautiful video I have ever seen. The love that this cat gives to this little boy is incredible. I get teary every time I watch it knowing that that kitty has passed away. I am always on a quest to turn people into cat lovers and this has to do the trick.

My ordinary rescue cat Tuittu tends to do the same. She's most loving and faithful friend and I bet her care is making me better from my illnesses little by little. Getting loved by a cat is a precious thing you may be proud of.

My best friend has 4 months old, snow white coon kitten called Karamel and he is doing exactly the same - grooming my hair, purring so loud I just can't fall asleep at night... You can see SO enthusiasm on him when you sit down on the floor next to him: "Oh, buddy, come little closer, I love you so much I could eat you alive!" :D I've NEVER seen a cat like that. Coons are just amazing. I'm really sorry for your lost but I can only say - get another one. It will help you more than anything else.

@cogstatic Maine Coon Kittens are about the best thing that can ever happen to you. I got mine at three weeks old and adore her. Maine Coons are really gentle. Mine I annoy all the time just to see if she's changed her mind and will bite me. So far, she hasn't done anything that hurts too bad :)

She was a tuxedo mixed with maine coon. She was gorgeous. She was my cat and I was her girl.
I remember the day I came home with the house a wreck and her no where to be found. I really won't ever forget that day.

@cogstatic Maine Coon Kittens are about the best thing that can ever happen to you. I got mine at three weeks old and adore her. Maine Coons are really gentle. Mine I annoy all the time just to see if she's changed her mind and will bite me. So far, she hasn't done anything that hurts too bad :)

My Maine Coon lived for twenty years before he died. He always used to sleep on my bed and he helped my brother walk when he was a baby. He passed a few days before christmas... :(

@amazingdany I have an Oriental and a Maine Coon. The coon is a lot bigger,but my oriental Winston will take his kitty treats and food.George lets him do it.LOL

Adopted our first Maine Coon five weeks ago after our 21-year-old DSH tiger girl passed two years ago. We love Lexi to pieces already. See the video we just uploaded. Hope you've found a new feline to love!

My cat Malikai was a Maine coon Tiger cat. He weighed 28lbs, and died at 6 years old, due to crystals. I know how hard it is to loose a member of your family. This past Christmas i found his ornament, and started to cry... So for you and King Louie, i wish all the love and strength you could ever need. Losing a loved one is never forgettable, but it gets easier, with time.

I am buying a maine coon kitten from an amazing local breeder, I have been so excited about this that I looked up maine coon on youtube and found this video, we have a little boy who loves cats, as do I , which is why we are so passionate about the breed, this video made me cry......thank you for posting it :')

My Maine Coon thinks he is a dog, or a human... When he realizes he is different of me in a mirror he becames a little sad. Animals for me are very important.

What a beautiful boy, we lost our big boy, a smoke Maine coon to bladder cancer,,, it's heartbreaking ,,, he was five years old, so my heart truly goes out to you and your family!!!
