How do you do this...also does it effect back pressure and will the computer freak?

@mengle2004 Drill out the rivets holding the baffles in. Pull the baffles, then remove the glass packing. Put the baffles back in and secure with new rivets or screws and nuts.

Just don't expect a drastic increase in the sound level. Taking the glass packing out makes it a little more throaty but not much louder.
