  • @ressor130 If I call Hobbie or one on their dealers they are going of course to tell me what you are writing here ! They are their main competitor in the human propel drive kayaks...and both systems (Hobie, NW...) make the total price higher of course. Bien entendu, si je téléphone à Hobbie ou un de leurs dealers, ils me diront exactement ce que vous décrivez ici, puisque Hobie est leur principal concurrent sur le marché des kayaks propulsés avec un pédalier.

  • its a shame it is so inefficient, tangles easily and just plan not user friendly. I guess if it had any real merit it would be sold at quality retailers around the world. In this case you have a product that no one wants and is over priced and under engineered. just call a retailer that sells the Mirage drive and ask them what they think of this unit?

  • can you get these babys in australia?

  • @TheBreamfisher capacity sports in melbourne is the importer

  • two idiots who put a real piece of crap on the market.

  • @ressor130 lololololu u turkey u must be confused obviously ur talking about the mirage drive

  • What about making a drive unit with a greater ratio specifically for sprinting and competitions

  • A two-blade prop (like this one) is EXTREMELY easy to foul on weeds when on a bassboat's trolling motor. What happens when someone pedals their boat across a sizeable patch of weeds? I gues you have to unhook the cover, raise the drive up out of the well and clear off the weeds, right??

  • @Seaboots no u just give it a few quick back pedals and it frees itself ... well thats what i do .... most of the time it just jops through the weeds like a blender .

  • @Seaboots or if ur worried u can just use ur paddle .... it is a yak after all

  • @Seaboots yea, just like a blender LOL....

  • where can you buy this thing?

  • yes you can. go to there website and they have electric motors that are made for it. Their largest is a 16 volt I believe.

  • could i put a small boat prop on this?????

  • What's that sqeaking noise?
