The experiment only proves that the vibrations coming from speaking have an effect on water. This is nothing new; we know that vibrations are proven to have an effect on our surroundings. What I dissapprove of is the idea that the meaning behind those words have any effect at all. I could be speaking complete babble, but it would still have an effect. Water does not remember because if it did, then it could develop the same patterns without the song as long as its the same water.

Would it make a difference if I were to perceive a positive word with a negative emotion, for example I associate the word 'Love' with the word 'Hate'. Writing love on a bottle of water to me would also mean hate, therefore I am making not a positive nor negative gesture but a neutral one with neither pos/neg effects. Maybe its better to use two words like love and gratitude as to not associate it with anything else. Hmmm???
