Absolutely my favorite rock solo of all time.I loved playing this song because I got to do both solos together myself. I enjoyed each one for being fun and unique. I never got clean enough at flat-picking to do that but found a way to do it super clean using hammer-ons and pull-offs. Nice to see it done so well that way.

Ive been wanting to learn this since it first came out but never got around to it. To make things a bit easier for me, i looked up the tab online and its all wrong. they have it tabbed out as tapping. After checking out your video, i went ahead and slowed down the original and yes, you have it spot on. Excellent work. I may tab it out and upload it so people know the right way of doing it. Excellent playing! NO WAY I can do it that fast; I have to cheat by doing it two-handed tapping style. Same notes, but much less impressive. This solo is proof that Jeff Watson is a God.

@b1naryd1g1t5 actually, in the original video, he plays it straight alternate picking...And I recently saw a YT video, of him playing it live (with a cover band), he was playing a guest appearance, and he also did it without 8-finger tapping...Nothing but alternate picking. Truly amazing player.

Great playing, but I wish you would have showed us a slow close up of the basic lick. It's hard to tell exactly what strings you are hitting and when.

Jeff does not tap on this solo. Is played exactly how this guy does it. I know for sure because I've seen Jeff multiple times on TV and live, and cause also I play this solo as well from a long time ago.
