  • @cflockking you know both big stores and small shops get theyr food and other products from the same factories right?

  • great job, thanks, keep those tips coming!!

  • This video really helped me . Thanks for making it :)

  • I live on Oahu we dont have a dollar store.

  • I buy my bread at the Sara Lee outlet store. I buy their "feed bread" (sell by date is usually that day). They just take it off the rack and throw it into a large plastic bag, so you kind of have to take what you get. The last time I went I got 21 loafs of Sara Lee bread, 14 packages of Earthgrain flat buns, 3 packs of cheapo hotdog buns (fed to my chickens and made some croutons), and a loaf of name brand raisin bread...all for $2.50. Just sort it out at home and put it in the chest freezer.

  • sadly dollarstore where i live doesnt carry food like this its mostly canned food or junk food

  • i tried to shop for food at the $ store and got a nasty case of food poisoning. i was sick for a week and lost a lot of $ from not going to work. so if you think you will get the same quality food at the $ store then you are wrong

  • @swansongusa Both my cat and I got food poisoning from a can of Dollar General tuna (I put the juice on his catfood). Never again :-p

  • Great Video!

  • agreed. Great video

  • We have Dollarama up here in Canada, and it's no longer just a dollar. I still find some good buys there. You've got some great healthy bargains. Great video.

  • I've gotten Crest toothpaste free at Dollar General when I had a coupon. You did a good job with this video!

  • I prefer organic veges for the health food store but At the 99 cent store here in LA you can but quality packaged organic spinach that usually sells for 3- 4 $ for 99 cents. The rest of their veges are low quality though.

  • Dollar stores are great. The possible reasons why there are some good buys like the Sara lee bread and others are because the packaging was done incorrectly, it's near the expiration date and it wasn't popular in normal supermarkets. So, technically you can get something that normally costs $4 and get it for $1 or so because of the above reasons.

  • hurry i do go the doolor stores but my son will not go to these stores i pick the kaft mac and cheese for two for $1 the same day without checking with me he went a name brand store and paid $2.18 each for the same boxes of noddles and power cheese

  • The best place to buy cleaning products is at a "Janitorial Supply Store" where you can get concentrate cleaner that last because u mix it with water. You don't have to own a cleaning business in order to buy products there. I never buy these items in a grocery store.

  • You are so right, a few times each year we go to the dollar stores to stock up on household cleaners and toiletry products to give to the struggling students and the elderly in our family. Everything isnt cheaper but alot of it is. I bring my elderly aunts packages of gift bags because they can no longer handle wrapping gifts but still enjoy giving a festive looking gift. They can 'wrap' several gifts for 99cents worth of bags.

  • I agree with you! It's amazing how many bargains you can get at these stores. The heck with "pride"! I'd rather save money any way I can. More people should give the dollar stores a go!

  • A 99 cent store that sells produce? Amazing.

  • nice video well done, here in england our £1 stores don't sell food well not much, you guys take care of yourselfs.

  • omg! i live in aus and i cant find stuff that cheap

  • I could live in dollar tree!

  • I only buy groceries at Major stores if it is something I CANNOT find at the 99cent only store! I get salad, butter, ground turkey, sliced turkey, garlic, onions, cabbage, blueberries, cherry tomatoes, green, yellow n red bell peppers, bananas, apples and onions in all colors there. I just bought a 6lb can of CONTADINA SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE THERE FOR 99.99cENTS! LOL.. love it!!

  • I thought spam was the lowest rung on the ladder meat out there.. Treet? yikes!.. I guess the ladder has to have feet, and that is treet.

  • yeah guess I am to proud to shop there. I would rather grow my own food than shop there. Oh wait I do grow or hunt most of my food already. lets break this down

    deer hunting gun $120.00

ammo for deer gun $3.50 for 5 bullets

    hunting license $40.00

so for $170.00 you can get you about 80Lb of meat. And that's a pessimistic amount. If you fill your tags and get a deer with every shot you'll have up to 500Lb of meat in the freezer Not a bad deal if you ask me.

  • Did I hear it correctly? Westsoy is $0.59 a quart?

  • @UsernameofBoang $1 at Dollar Tree.
