your right, im sorry. but i just think alot of fans are being hard on the coach and team bc were losing. the bigger picture has to be looked at. freeman was k-state. besides jordy nelson ( and even he wasnt elite, thats all feeman had to throw too. 20 td to 8 picks and 14 rushing tds, 34 total tds. the guy is a phenomenal talent.

For the record, I doubt anybody believes 'whatever' I say. I give my opinion. I never assert it is anything more than that. I NEVER called Freeman a bust. I said it as a horrible draft pick due to the other needs we had and his body of work in college.

I encourage everyone to bring their opinion. If you agree; cool. If you don't; that's cool too. It is even better if you have facts to back up your position. I know I am asking a lot, so if you want to simply say I am a joke, that is cool too.

Buccaneers beat up on the Pack Sacks, 6 sacks! 3 picks! one for a TD! blocked punt for a TD! and Freeman threw 3 TDs! and 1 up setting pick.....which was a rookie mess up and better then throwing 2 picks, Freeman finished with a 89.6 QB rating I think, which is pretty well for a rookie Qb starting his first season game ever, Go Buccaneers! 1-7.....38 points baby! i agree mwith your views for the most part, but it seems like you don't place that much emphasis on having a good QB, i mean you hated drafting a QB, and even now - which is one of the most important games for the long-term future of this franchise since freeman is starting - you still don't place much emphasis on freeman's first start??every top team in the NFL right now has had a franchise QB at the helm, or at least a very good QB. it frustrates me when people do not put much emphasis on QBs

I demand a serviceable, coachable and smart QB. If we can get more, I am game. I think that the other areas of this team were in far more trouble then we would have been with McCown (I lost early) and with all the young talent hitting this year, the Freeman pick (even aside from what I felt was a sub-standard resume coming in) a bad move.

He is here now and I hope for the best!

I agree, we could win this one. Im a little weary of Freeman, but excited to finally see what he can do. I want to see more sammy and less clayton. get that caddy and ward tandom firing an all pistons and we should be able to salvage this season.....6-7 wins is possible, but im expecting 2-3. Seattle is very winable, carolina is winable.
