To chłopina pokazał-problem tkwi w tym że diesel powyżej 4000 obr/min już prawie nie "ciągnie"-nieefektywne i niepotrzebne pałowanie jednostki. Peak power on these engines is at 4000 RPM. Anything beyond that is just extra noise. Burying it in the red is completely pointless. Change up at 4k.

@deepestlevel I agree and I don't agree. Why agree ? If you always shift when it reaches the red zone, yes you will damage the engine. Why I don't agree ? because if the car is properly taken care of (engine included), you can rev it up once a month or every 3 weeks, the engine won't cry ;).

Had same car, drove if fast but hardly ever got past 4000, ususally shifted around 3000 to get very decent accerelation, sometimes got to 3500

Never went into red zone, never went to 4500, and the car was blimey fast
