Im trying to find the best camo for hunting in california how would multicam hold up in a very green enviroment? It looks a little light to me. Going to buy gear head to toe so i dont wanna waste money and if multicam is good for multiple enviroments i would like to get it.
I've seen TRU Combat Shirts in person before they are TOP quality no doubt but also TOP price. Definitely worth getting though. I'll be getting a shirt and pants from them sometime other priorities right now.
@Quinton101 Ive tried them on and I think is a great investment, im going to get one ASAP for hunting, its a great shirt that breaks up your outline in open country, buy it if you have the money.
@jonshawn88 well i have done it because whenever i hold a rifle you just have to look down to see what the time is thats my reason but not sure for other people i would asume thats why they do it.
I have several of these shirts. They are very well constructed and well worth it. Very comfortable and surprisingly warm but also very comfortable in warm temperatures. Get one, you wont regret it.
Question, Don't they have a shirt and pants with pad inserts built in?
I think it would be better if they made an all around good camo. Oh, wait thats what Multi camo is for. it's good in a lot of environments except snowy places.
I sw the padded version and though this is an awesome idea, because you don;t have to put extra padding.
I have this in ACU and I accidentally got it in large, but it's still pretty cool. The fabric is a bit stiff, and I can never get the sleeves to fit right but that's probably because I haven't washed it yet and I got it in large when I am a medium.
It's a great product to have. Especially if you airsoft. It can get hot under all that gear. I love that the shirt is a wicking torso. At the price? You can't complain either... It's a must have for those hot seasons.
Most colors run $49.99, the Multicam is more expensive because of the genuine Crye Precision fabric. Check the website for all the available colors and pricing.

So is this the brand the Army uses?
Americanpatriot777 1 year ago
@Americanpatriot777 No, I think Cyre Precision supplies the army, because they designed the multicam pattern.

question do you have to buy your own gear when you join the military or do they suply it?
JI332 1 year ago
@JI332 you get issued gear but you have the option to buy different(and in many cases, better) gear as long as your command authorizes it for wear

It is the "MOLLE Chest Rig" with a custom buildout available at OPSGEAR. The operator is wearing it over his plate carrier.

I am thinking to order one before the army switching to the Multicam at the end of next year. :D is this real or made in china ?

Genuine Multicam from Crye Precision.
operationsmedia 2 years ago
@Vietboy1st "Genuine Crye Precision" means the manufacturer licensed the pattern from Crye Precision, not that they use US made Crye Precision cloth.

@Vietboy1st : The Army is switching to multicam ? Really ? Is it going to become the new desert camouflage in the army ?

@MaintainRight1
they've only given units who are going to afghanistan, the multi-cam. iraq is still acu.
