let's see, he ostensibly hates children and wants to abolish childhood but goes to considerable lengths to have obedient schoolgirls (Rose, lizard Dinah) around and he makes a creature that is in some sense his child and is partly genetically Dinah and wants it to become a 'woman' asap, etc - I think this is creepier for adults than for kids.
